The waterfalls are wonderful and the view of the sea is fabulous. Everyday the scenery changes: We had a big storm while we were there, and the waterfalls doubled in size. It is in a great location for walking, being at the beginning of the pr3 lakes walk, and in the middle of the west coast walk pr1 and 2. The apartment itself is well organised and set out for your needs. kitchen dining and lounge space all with the view over the sea. While we were there because of the rain and the storm it was difficult to dry clothing, but our lovely hostess Andrea dried our clothes in her drier - giving us an opportunity to meet her and the family. Such lovely hosts! Very highly recommend this amazing place. We hope to return very soon!

Set in Faja Grande, 200 metres from Praia Faja Grande, Residencia Mateus features a garden and views of the mountain. Great location&host, I would recommend it for anyone who looks for simple, but cosy and clean accomodation on Flores island. Great value for money!

Alojamentos Flores Island boasts a beautiful location in the village of Faja Grande and it is surrounded by the beautiful blue sea and magnificent waterfalls. Faja Grande is a small village on a relatively quiet island in the Azores. The cottage is charming and spacious with good natural light and provides a fully equipped kitchen. A mini mercado, a larger mercado and a great restaurant on the point/beach were all within easy walking distance. Marcia, the manager, is efficient, funny and an incredibly hard worker! We would gladly stay here again.

Casa dos Botes is a recently renovated guest house in Santa Cruz das Flores, where guests can make the most of its bar and barbecue facilities. The property features sea and mountain views. Unique house in front of the sea, very comfortable and clean, and in a great location. Our host David was super attentive and helpful during our stay there. Thanks David!

Featuring sea views, AP Luso Brasileiro features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 1.6 km from Praia da Calheta. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. I am an avid traveler and stayed in many VRBOs, Air BNBs, Camper Vans, and Hotels. This was by far the worst, dirtiest place I have ever stayed at. I urge someone to call me to discuss this.

You get more than what you pay for at Pandora. The location is prime to access the best spots on the island, it’s a 10min walk from a beautiful waterfall that you can swim in and watch the sunset. Lou is one of the most genuine, funny and interesting people you’ll ever encounter. He goes above and beyond to welcome you and make you feel at home. He also gave us tips on where to go depending on the weather. Very cozy rooms and the facilities are always clean. The only downside is having to leave🥲 We will miss you Lou! Chris & Susana July 2023
