Although it was a bit far away from the city center, I find this as positive as probably in the active season, the city center might be crowded. The room was clean, large and the breakfast was great.

Really relaxing! We enjoyed the ‘no kids’ part, not that there’s anything wrong with them, but sometimes you just don’t want them around.

With a long and rich history, Lagos is nowadays a famous beach resort of the sunny Portuguese region of Algarve. Including wide sandy beaches and quiet coves enclosed by ochre cliffs, it also offers a lively city centre with one of the best mixes between history and modernity in the region.
King Henry the Navigator chose it as a base for his trips of discovery during the 15th century, and later on, it became the residence of the Algarve governors. The Old Town is circled by medieval walls, typical narrow streets, historic buildings and charming squares. B&B’s and hotels in Lagos’s historic centre allow you to enjoy these picturesque surroundings.
Apart from being an important centre for sailing, the city has amazing beaches, like Meia Praia or Praia da Dona Ana. Resorts and hotels on Lagos’ beaches are the perfect choice for sun lovers, while the hotels near the modern Lagos Marina are popular, as they are both close to the centre and the railway station.
The city is 90 km from Faro Airport, and 24 km from Portimão. Check out the Lagos hotels deals on Booking.com before travelling!
Beautiful place. Lots to do, lots of beaches which are all lovely. Plenty of days out available and lots of boat trips ie, dolphin watching, kayaking. The Marina is a great place to sit and watch the world go by with good restaurants and bars. The town centre has a real mix of shops and again plenty of places to eat and drink.

Far too touristy with some base elements.
Far too touristy with some base elements. Ok if you're young and carefree, but for the discerning visitor the brashness is too much. That said, I suspect that when the town is quieter, it's better qualities would stand out and be easier to discern.

Lagos is a beautiful old city with modern hotels and apartments outside the walled centre.
There are plenty of beaches and experiences to be seen and a fabulous board walk on both Meia Praia and Camilo .
Public transport is great with buses to most locations. The blue route links from Poto da Mos via Donna Anna to Meia Praia .
There is an abundance of good quality restaurants , go for the more traditional small ones for authentic food. The marina has a good vibe and some nice bars serving food.
The zoo is worth a visit and is on a bus route
Ther is something for all ages in Lagos and the surrounding area

Lovely marina area with plenty of restaurants, the Lighthouse bar on the marina is good for food and reasonable prices. Old town has a large and varied choice of bars and restaurants. Good supermarkets. Easy to get around Ubers are cheaper than taxis. Seems to be a rise in the number of beggars mainly in the old town. Plenty of sea excursions available such as fishing, dolphin spotting and visiting caves.

Lagos is a lot less touristy than some other surrounding towns. There's plenty of bars and restaurants in the old town and the marina.
Lots of beaches to choose from. On one side you have the longest beach with holden sands. And on the other, lots of small beaches in between the cliffs. Some can only be reached by boat or kayak.
Top of the cliffs offer spectacular walks along the wooden paths offering breathtaking views.
Lovely hotel! From the rooftop pool and bar to the amazing breakfast that is included in the hotel, I would definitely recommend. We took the train in from Lisbon and the hotel is right across the drawbridge, a 5 minute walk from the train station. Lagos is small so it is just a few minutes walk into the heart of the city and about 20 min to the beaches. The rooms are nice with balconies, and the bed was comfortable! They even included the bottle of champagne upon arrival that I requested since it was our elopement!
This property was amazing and exceeded my expectations! It was perfectly located, just a three minute walk from town. The hosts were so kind and helpful with local beach and restaurant recommendations. The breakfast was delicious with many continental options and eggs/bacon cooked to order. And the room was very clean and had A/C which was much needed!! Highly recommend you book this place when in Lagos, the perfect happy medium between a hotel and apartment rental. Truly felt like staying at a friend’s place.
the room was quite spacious and kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The pool was wonderful and the beach was just a short walk away. The property is a 3 min drive away from Lagos city centre. The closest grocery store was 2 minutes drive away. There is a small cafeteria in the hotel by the pool and some restaurants at walking distance. We stayed for 8 nights and the room was cleaned each day. The reception staff was helpful and courteous. The stay was quite comfortable and relaxing.
This property was serene! Located a short walk from the Old Town in Lagos, this property had exquisite gardens, multiple pools and a fantastic breakfast area for hotel guests. The receptionists were also very accommodating and were able to answer any questions that we had about beaches, restaurants, etc.
Lastly, our room was very spacious and we even received a complimentary bottle of Rose on a arrival, setting the mood for a perfect romantic getaway.
It’s all about the location with these apartments, your paying for the incredible spot in Lagos right on the beach. We love Iberlagos and will be coming back time and time again because it’s super affordable and the staff are lovely. The interiors need a bit of TLC but that doesn’t bother us or effect our stay because it’s such good value for money and we spend most of our time outside in the gorgeous surrounding areas!
Big hotel, in central Lagos. Overall friendly staff and clean rooms/facilities. Rooms are bigger than expected, bathroom also big and with a walk in shower. One night there was live music at the bar. We got vouchers for a drink at the bar by deciding not to let our room be cleaned every single day. Breakfast was good. Multiple options to park your car: Free (not secured) and charged (and secured) parking.
Everything here is great. The pools and spa area are very nice and relaxing. The location next to Porto de Mos beach is amazing. Just a quick walk down the hill and you are at the beach. There are two great restaurants on the beach you should also check out, Campimar and Antonios. The condos are very well built, and are comfortable. Would definitely stay here again when in Lagos.
The hotel is Adults-only which was so nice. Sitting outside by the pool or in front of our room or in the very nice lounge area was a luxury and there was so quiet and calm. The staff so friendly and helpful. The two maids made it a memorable stay, in the best way possible. It sfelt very much like a tranquil oasis in the the midst of the Lagos tourist chaos.
The Location of the Hotel, the view in front of the beach its amazing.
The breakfast is good as well.
Beautiful Hotel, new and modern.
Two nights had entertainment at the Hotel.
Easy access to the beach, and to go to the Lagos downtown to go to the Marina for the sight seeing tour through the beaches and Caves.
Loved the location, super close to the train station and the old town. The room is super clean and comfortable. The hotel staffs are nice and always helpful. We especially loved the rooftop pool and sun lounge area, beautiful view of the marina! Would definitely stay here again if we return to Lagos.
The staff was excellent! Jose is the best! 😎
The hotel is very nice and clean, rooms are big and the beds very comfortable, breakfast was delicious, the pool was perfect (salty water).
Praia Porto de Mos is like 6 minutes walking and is a very nice beach.
The best hotel in Lagos! 🥰
Great location near to the marina and Lagos town. All easy walking distances. Beaches are about a 30minute walk away or the hotel provides a shuttle to its own beach and beach club.
Lots of options at breakfast. All staff very friendly. Would recommend and stay again.
Lovely quiet location on the edge of Lagos, with a short cheap taxi ride in. Beautiful hotel with lovely rooms, pools and restaurant and brilliantly helpful and attentive staff. Will definitely be returning again next year!
The hotel location was great, plenty of restaurants on the marina, and only a short 15min stroll to Lagos old town bar and restaurants.
The pool was great with plenty of sun loungers.
Location. As if travel to Lagos by bus, that’s perfect, the hotel is just in front of the bus terminal. If you get a Marina view room, the view is great too.
Excellent location, close to the beach with very nice rooftop restaurant. Hotel is away from the bustling Marina area and perfect fir a romantic getaway.
