This hotel has a great location, close enough to the action without compromising relaxation. Every time I walked through the door it was like entering an oasis of calm. They had my room ready 3 hours ahead of check-in and everything I needed was just a call away.

Kona Tiki Hotel ligt in Kailua-Kona, op 5 minuten lopen van Honl’s Beach, en biedt accommodatie met een buitenzwembad, gratis privéparkeren, een tuin en een barbecue. great location right on the water clean well equipped rooms with beach towels body board, fins etc available yo use at no cost *** Best of all property is run by 2 people who really care about their hosts . Michelle went above and beyond to take care of me and ensure that my stay was perfect. They really care about their guests. Treated better then at some 5 star resorts. I will be back.

Ocean Breeze Inn ligt in Keaau, op 20 km van Lava Tree State Monument, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een terras en een barbecue. De locatie lag erg landelijk, vlak bij de oceaan (loopafstand 200 meter) Daar was echter geen strand- of zwemmogelijkheden. Ruime tuin en parkeergelegenheid en gratis gebruik van wasmachine en droger. de kamer had een heerlijk ruim balkon. De kamer was schoon en er was voldoende linnenvoorziening.

Coffee Garden is gelegen in Captain Cook, op 6,9 km van Kealakekua Bay State Historical Park, en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de bergen. We had a fantastic stay! We got welcomed with fresh papayas and avocados from the garden. The property is very nice and for us in the perfect location as we were not looking for the touristy sites. Close to fantastic snorkeling spots!

Volcano Eco Cabin Retreat is een chalet in Volcano, op 16 km van Kilauea en op 9,6 km van de ingang van Volcano National Park. This “cabin/lodge” is amazing! We stayed in the “lodge”, so cannot comment on the smaller “cabin”. We were there for 6 days, and had a huge storm/ hurricane for 2 days. We had solar power with propane heat and stove when everyone else had no power. All stores, hotels, Volcano National Park all closed down. We loved the huge windows to watch the rain and wind. The king bed and soft duvet and pillows made sleeping so cozy. We enjoyed the good WiFi with Netflix before the storm brought it all down. Loved listening to the coqui frogs at night and counted 12 different bird species during the day. Shower had plenty of hot water. Purified rain water was the most delicious water we’ve ever had.

Hale Hualalai bevindt zich in Kailua-Kona, op 8,9 km van Kaloko-Honokohau National Historic Park, en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de zee. Amazing stay! I highly recommend anyone staying in Kona wanting an incredible experience to stay here. Ricky and his wife are both extremely friendly, kind and hospitable people (as well as both being great cooks). The destination (10 min drive from town up into the hills) provides the most beautiful views of the ocean and surrounding landscape. The room was immaculately clean and much bigger than I had originally thought going by the photos. We utilised the breakfast option and were treated to a variety of delightful breakfasts along with the best coffee I had drunk in Kona that they make with their own beans. The view whilst eating there is as good as it can get as well. Could not have enjoyed our stay more here and if we go back to Kona we will certainly be staying at Hale Hualalai with Ricky. Thank you both so much for making our stay with you perfect.

We loved staying here, a fantastic cottage and in a great location. The owners were both friendly and knowledgeable of the area, and made us feel welcome. We would stay here again.

Delicious and healthy breakfast full of tropical fruit and local coffee was the perfect start of every day spent there. Quiet and lush rainforest surrounds the location. An amazing place to live!

We were upgraded to a master ocean view suite, which was spectacular. The view and sounds of the ocean were the backdrop to our deeply relaxing and inspiring stay. The location is easily the most beautiful on the island. The swimming beach was fantastic and my husband was pleased to be able to snorkel right on the property every day. The breakfast and different options for food were plentiful, healthy and delicious. And the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, special and comfortable. We also enjoyed the complimentary yoga and sound bath sessions and I enjoyed a world class facial with the excellent Cindy at the spa. We loved the whole experience and will be back!
