With a dome reminiscent of Brunelleschi’s "The Duomo" in Florence, the Hungarian parliament building is undoubtedly the icon of Budapest. It sits majestically by the Danube, the river that both divides and unifies the 2 parts of this capital city: Buda and Pest.
Overseeing Budapest from its vantage point on Castle Hill is Buda Castle. Spectacularly lit at night, it offers the best views across this attractive city steeped in World Heritage. Some unique points of interest are Heroes Square and the Museum of Terror, reminders of the city’s more turbulent past.
Much like in Vienna further up the Danube, coffee and cake is practically an institution in Budapest. And there’s nowhere better to try this than Gerbeaud - the elaborate décor alone makes this café well worth a visit.
To really feel like a local, make a trip to the thermal baths. The relaxed Gellért Baths are a triumph of Art Nouveau grandeur, while based on their sheer size, you can't miss the outdoor Széchenyi Baths. If unusual nightlife is your thing, the club nights at these baths are great fun.
With an impressive range of Budapest hotels, apartments and hostels on offer in this city of 2 halves, Booking.com makes your choice completely easy.
Budapest is nice, very clean , very safe. Food is excellent, and can find all kind of food. Try to have local currency since paying in euro will cost much more. Two or three days are enough to visit all sight seeings. Try to stay in the centre, it is very convenient .

Budapest has some of the most beautiful buildings I've ever seen! At night a river cruise shows it off to its best with everything bathed in a warm lit glow. Excellent restaurants and bars, not overly expensive, and very clean overall. Much better overall than expected.

It's a small city but full of history. You can visit every historical points by foot.

If you want to try really confort hungary food, go to Frici Papa!
The hotel is just great: clean, spacious, bright. You can feel that everything is new here and designed with a good taste. It is very convenient to have a kitchen with full equipment: even a filter for water is there. The host - Alex, is the best you can wish for: always there to help. Even by the phone. Speaks Russian, so my parents were just happy about it :)
We ordered the rooms with a breakfast at Astoria hotel nearby and enjoyed it too.
I have no problem staying at places like Budapest Global Suites permanently!
We very much enjoyed staying with Metropolis Budapest. The room was great with beautiful wallpaper and nice decorations. Everything we needed was there. The staff were kind and very helpful. The location was also great - close to ruin bars and great restaurants. The walking distance from the hotel to the city centre was also fine - about 15-20 min. All in all we were very pleased with Metropolis and will recommend this nice hotel to other visitors in Budapest.
Location was perfect - right in the city centre with shops and cafes / restaurants on the same street. The reception staff were lovely and helpful, they even let us check in early as the room was ready on arrival. Very clean and beautifully decorated room, bed was huge and very comfortable! Would definitely recommend staying here, the price was great compared to other nearby hotels. We will return on our next visit to Budapest! Thank you
Most amazing location, super clean, wonderful staff and great breakfast so stylish. I stayed in Budapest couple of times but this was definitely the best hotel and best experience ever. My friend had a birthday and they were kind enough to bring a champagne to our room she was beyond happy made her whole day awesome. Thank you for being accommodating and super helpful. We are coming back again!
This is a truly unique experience in Budapest. We wanted something different than a simple hotel room and this was a great choice. The room was cosy with a great view of the island and the beds were very comfy. The shower is indeed small but it’s a boat after all. The location is also convenient, close to Danube cruises and city centre.
If you travel by train, this is the best location ! If you travel by public transportation, this is very good location ! We like this hotel as it offer apartment with full kitchen. Also it is very good value ! Have breakfast included and luggage storage is a plus.
All in all if we come Budapest next time, we will stay here again.

I had a good time in Budapest and I liked the Silver Hotel, because it has a good price, it is clean and comfortable. It is located in the city centre and you can have a good view from your room. The breakfast is pretty good also. I can recommend it.
Comparing to other hotels in Budapest City Center, this hotel offers the best price. The room was so big and comfortable. It was better than I expected. If I travel again to Budapest I will stay at this hotel again. Greetings from Azerbaijan!
I like this hotel very much and this was not my first stay there. It is in city centre, with good breakfast, clean but basically furnished. Enough for feeling comfortable for short stay. Also well located for exploring Budapest.
Clearly one of the best hotel inside Budapest, very clean and comfortable room with spectacular view of the city. Huge breakfast for the morning, parking available inside the hotel...all good !

It's a great hotel if you are coming to Budapest by car since it has ample parking space, and if you plan on driving to the city centre. It's a clean, comfortable hotel at a good price.
Cosy little boutique hotel in a historic building of Budapest city centre. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room very clean. We loved it and will definitely be back soon!
+ location, I would say it's one of the best located cheep hostels in the city
+ Price, one of the cheapest places (if not the cheapest) that close to the city center of Budapest
Best hotel for location (city centre - walking distance from everything) and value (not as pricey as others).
