Brindisi centre is 13 minutes drive from the Airport. We enjoyed our short stay there before exploring Puglia. We decided to return to the City on our last day as we loved the restaurants along the port, particularly Betty’s

A relatively quiet port town, more popular with Italian tourists than foreigners. Great for an authentic Italian holiday experience- not too fancy but with a pretty promenade and a good choice of restaurants and shops. Good train connection with some attractions of the area, but not all of them (there are different railway companies in this area and some more distant journeys need good planning). Be sure to use the water tram to cross the harbour- it costs one bus ticket and it's very pleasant:)

Brindisi is nice place but I felt more a stop off place on the way to alternative locations. We travelled to Monopoli and Alberobella by train and both were amazing . Also took a train to Lecce which is nice too but we arrived when most shops/restaurants were closed for siesta so hard to really give a true picture. We were slightly disappointed with the food generally.. plenty of pizzerias but found it hard to get spaghetti bolognaise or Lasagna on any menu.

Wandering through Brindisi’s narrow streets filled with...
Wandering through Brindisi’s narrow streets filled with quaint houses and Baroque buildings is like stepping back in time. The town's stunning architecture is a blend of different influences, reflecting its rich cultural heritage. Visit the Cathedral of Brindisi, with its beautiful blend of Romanesque and Gothic styles, or admire the majestic Palazzo Granafei-Nervegna, a noble residence turned contemporary art museum. The Column of St. Lawrence is another architectural gem, standing tall since the Roman times. Brindisi’s location along the blue waters of the Adriatic Sea grants it access to breathtaking beaches and a picturesque coastline. We selected the Hemingway Beach.

We really enjoyed Brindisi at night, the downtown area was lovely and very walkable. It is also a great location for lots of day trips to other great spots nearby. We visited Ostuni, Gallipoli, Leece and Bari on day trips from Brindisi.

Brindisi itself is very small and there’s not much to do.
Brindisi itself is very small and there’s not much to do. It’s not that well known, there aren’t lots of tourists and therefore the infrastructure isn’t fully developed to cater to tourist’s needs. Only a few people spoke a little bit of English. You def need a car if you want to see things located around Brindisi.
Absolutely brilliant b&b. The property is beautiful, spotless and very spacious-extremely comfortable bed and excellent facilities. Andrea the host is charming-he was very helpful with suggestions and helped us plan our holiday perfectly. Breakfast was delicious at a local cafe. The area is quaint and interesting and we loved our holiday in Brindisi. Would definitely recommend this b&b and plan to return.
I liked that the check-in time is at 11:30, very good, if you arrived by an early flight. My room had everything I needed for a one-day stay: comfi bed, hot water from the shower and hairdryer. It is close to everything, the airport bus stops exactly in front of the hotel. You can walk to the train station or to the city center in 10 minutes.
The continental breakfast was basic but good.
you'll need a taxi to get to and from the airport terminal building or possibly there is a bus as the walk would be an impossibility with luggage despite being very close.
A reasonable beach for swimming within a 10 minute walk is a bonus.
3 restaurants within a 10 minute walk of mixed quality and price or you could buy things and eat in the kitchen at the b and b
The host was very nice and always responded very quickly. The apartment is in a great location, close to restaurants and shopping. It was very clean and had wonderful towels. The host thought of everything. She even left lots of food and drinks for her guests, which was very appreciated. We had an excellent stay at Chiara"s and would stay again if in Brindisi.
This accommodation was beyond any expectations I had of it. so thoughtfully prepared, decorated. proper joy staying there and I will probably come to Brindisi big part because of the accommodation itself. I do travel a lot and experience a variety of b&b sand hotels - but this was really excellent and on the top of all I have seen so far. highly recommend!
The location was superb. Walking distance to everything we needed (the harbour, the train station...). The host had been super nice and prepared a complete handbook for us about what to do in the area, prices for massages and transfers to nearby beaches and the airport, and left business cards for good restaurants in the area. That was super helpful!
Brilliant location...near airport and near all the facilities ..near the car hire depo...secure parking beautiful pool...relaxing atmosphere would definitely come back again room were clean and spacious beautiful well kept gardens...first time at hotel minerva can't wait to come back...!!!
The apartement is in the city, but still quiet, clean and nice with everything you need. The Check-in was easy, Francesco is friendly and also very helpfull with giving restaurant and beach tips. If I’ll ever come back to Brindisi I would be glad to stay in the apartment again.
The apartment was very spacious and clean. The area where it was located was nice and quiet.
There are bus stops to the city centre and the beach not far away from the apartment
The communication with the owner was easy. And she replied to the messages quickly.
The hotel is in Brindisi's city centre, the location is good to explore the city, the building is modern and clean. The breakfast was lovely and the room and bathroom were good. There was also a selection of pillows in the bedroom.
a very nice place and i must say i was very satisfied and close to the airport close to the beaches you can go walking and also good value for money a nice breakfast bone car all very modern and elegant nice really nice
This hotel was exceptional. Imagine being able to WALK to the Brindisi Airport when there is no other options. Our host thought of every comfort and convenience. The outdoor gardens were lovely. We left rested.
The flat is very close to the train station and also close to the beach. The owner was very nice, the room was clean, and we got a good breakfast with different options.
