El Cardhu Country House se encuentra en el corazón de la ruta del whisky de malta. El Cardhu Country House es un exclusivo refugio rural situado en el Whisky Country de Speyside. The location is fabulous, quiet and secluded, but easy driving distance to the surrounding sites in the area. The beds were very comfortable. The food was delicious. But most importantly, we really enjoyed chatting with our hosts, Colin and Sarah. They are fabulous and what make the Country House the perfect place to stay when visiting the area.

We liked the house and everything, views were stunning, closeness to the nature, deers walking around surrounding forest, river.etc. We found hidden gems like Breamar Town with ski resort, Balmoral Castle our Queen Elisabeth favourite one where she used to loved hunting. Lovely, amazing Highlands in Scotland we never forget it and we definitely come back.

Set in 44 acres of gardens and woodland, Thainstone House is just 15 minutes from Aberdeen Dyce International Airport. The hotel has a luxury spa and fitness centre, and a free parking. El Pittodire House es uno de los hoteles con más historia de Escocia. Cuenta con torretas y escaleras de caracol y se erige en un terreno de 971 hectáreas, a sólo 30 minutos en coche de Aberdeen. We were very impressed! All the staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. This is a delightful old Scottish Manor, kept in very good condition and clean. After many stairs and long hallways befitting an old manor, we found our room. A huge corner room with beautiful views of the gardens. We even had a nice big bathtub which was a real treat after a day and a half of air travel to get to Aberdeen. Dinner was excellent and the restaurant has an intimate romantic atmosphere with a lovely view of the expansive grounds. Breakfast was the full Scottish fare, again looking out onto the surrounding green meadows. It’s in a perfect location especially if arriving late afternoon in Aberdeen, only a 1/2 hour from the airport. We couldn’t have asked for better!
