A separate kids pool area could be useful for younger children to keep busy. In-room dining quality could be improved. There were no English kids channels on TV.

Breakfast ambience was very western, there was a great focus on sustainability in all areas/ services of the hotel.

The size of the rooms... The rooms are small. And no additional bed for 5 year old child. The prices in the shop are quite high.

My IRD experience was below average. This is an area of improvement. As a Cluster DOHR I could clearly say training is needed. On day one, I ordered for a beef burger and the soup of the day, the lady who sounded African told me it's the Tomato & Basil soup so I ordered it. When it arrived, it tasted like ginger which I am allergic to and the colour looked different. Anyways, I thought it was just terribly made. So I called back and spoke to another order taker who was from Myanmar. She apologized and told me that I think her colleague made a mistake, the soup of the day was a ginger carrot soup. She asked me if she could change it. I asked her if she means she will bring a tomato basil soup? She said no, she will send a fresh ginger carrot soup. I told her I cannot have ginger. She mentioned there is a tomato soup in the kids menu. I assumed it will be a free replacement. But she said it has to be paid for. Anyways, I didn't want to continue the conversation so I ordered a chicken burger which wasn't cooked well, it was breaded and just peeled off. The beef burger was fantastic but there was no coleslaw like what was written in the menu / shown in the picture. Anyways, it tasted good so It didn't matter. I was not offered any refund for the soup so I didn't ask for it specifically.

It was 16 April 2024, the day of the storm when i decided to book at the Rove as both of my hotels Radisson Blu Media City & Park Inn Motor City were fully booked and I couldn't return home to Oud Metha. Pleasantly surprised to see the Hotel Manager Stephanie welcome me over a side wall, that's leading by example. And she did the same for many guests, I watched out of my window & can confirm this. The stay was fantastic, Amr the Duty Manager extended my stay, thanks to him. Housekeeping staff were very friendly & courteous. Overall a fantastic hotel, great sustainability initiatives & I highly recommend it.

some weird thing happened where when i booked i specified seven people, and when i arrived they said my booking stated only 3 and i had to play for four extra guests

It's just the AC of our room is not cooling enough even if we already adjusted the temperature to max. It is bearable, however we did not use any blanket as we are already too tired from the park and wanted to take a rest. Shuttle going to the Battuta Mall won't drop you to the exact mall itself. There was a little flood at the area and cars can still pass by, however the driver is dropping the people far from the mall and people who is not familiar of the area is figuring out how to go to the mall as there are places that is flooded that cannot pass on foot but the shuttle can easily drive by.

Really great hotel for the family. Kids won't get bored as they have things they can play with and adults have places where they can have coffee and a lounge where they can have a drink. Perfect location if you're planning to visit Dubai Parks. They also have free shuttle going to the park and back to the hotel. Also a free ride going to IBN Battuta mall.

I asked for a complimentary cake for my husband as we were celebrating his birthday.. they have confirmed to give but when we reached they didn’t provide. I even asked the receptionist they said they will send but till we checked out no cake was given. Also food in the restaurant was supposed to be international but everything in the buffet was indian cuisine
