Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe downstairs bar area isn't the best atmosphere to eat at dinner - I found it to be quite dark, which is probably great if you are using it just for drinks. I'm not sure whether the main dining area upstairs is open each night (I only went up once when apparently it was open though didn't see any guests). I think the building work downstairs is for a new restaurant which I imagine would be really nice. As someone with multiple food allergies/intolerances, I found the dinner options downstairs mixed - the vegan Singapore curry was excellent, though on a different night, asking for an adjustment to the salad seemed to be very difficult though I think it might just have been the person I spoke to.
Such a large and really beautiful room, with a comfortable bed and large bathroom. My room was opposite the clock, I was slightly sceptical as to how quiet that would be, but it wasn't a nuisance and was so lovely to look at, especially when lit up at night time. Staff were really lovely and housekeeping services were excellent - the room was very clean and they kindly noticed which type of coffee pods I was using, and left more of these which was appreciated. The staff are very welcoming, they acknowledge you as you come and go, and are helpful if you have any queries. The staff on the concierge service were great, and those in charge of the cars/drive/bags also. The location was very good - a ten minute walk down to Circular Quay. And most of the other key attractions are only a short walk away as well.

Lovely hotel. Every staff member was so nice, couldn't have been any more helpful and just a pleasure to deal with. The room was spacious and spotless. Such a beautiful place to stay. It was lightly raining on the Saturday morning when we were going to have a wander around the city and as we were leaving we were handed umbrellas, staff think of everything.

The Location of this hotel is central. Very convenient to access from the Train or tram stops located just outside. The staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean, cleaners are super friendly too and rooms are large and easy to store our bags.
