The cabin was very comfortable, well equipped and very good value but the highlight was the location. The Holiday Park is set in a beautiful part of the world and the view from the cabin balcony was spectacular. Not only that but we were regularly graced by the appearance of lorikeets and other bird life and the icing on the cake was the presence of a coffee van a mere 100 metres from our cabin. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Road noise was bad at times, especially in the morning.

Floor hadn’t been washed in a while. Bed was a double not a queen ( Queen wouldn’t fit in the room.) I’m being picky! Thus is a minor quibble. The floor needs to get washed though, not just vacuumed.

We stayed in a cabin jammed between a tool shed and a van site. the unit was old and cramped. It had a double bed and 4 bunk beds, but would have been would have been awful for a family. The covered carport provided quite restricted parking space. However it was clean and well maintained. It came at a considerable discount from the advertised price, but was still expensive. I guess demand sets the price and the setting is excellent, but we still didn't feel that real value was there. Most other cabins are much more modern, and while the two person ones are small, they come with large covered decks. They are also more expensive, but i suspect more comfortable.

The location is excellent, bordering bushland, beside a tidal estuary, within walking/wading distance to a lightly used beach. The guests were friendly, as were the staff and the town has everything necessary for a break.

It could have been cleaner and two of the vertical slats were missing on the door, the toaster had not been cleaned inside for I don’t know how long.

The fry pan didn’t work on the electric stove so we had to cook in the camp kitchen if we needed the pan

The cabin was so close to the water and basic but had everything we needed for the stay

The blind in the main area of the cabin had missing panels & we felt a little exposed in the dark with people able to see straight in from public beach & car park areas

The cabin was perfect place to stay with teenagers for a sports carnival! Note we can’t really rate the staff as we didn’t actually see anyone - arrived late & left before office opened

Clean, cosy, all the necessities needed for a good quiet get away. Loved the gated deck so the dog could chill on without being on a lead.

The traffic coming by the tiny homes at the front of the park made the stay not as peaceful as I had hoped for. The homes also have large windows that are mostly all glass, with little narrow louvres to the side. I think they're better designed for a secluded spot, although I would still want more air flow rather than all that fixed glass. The airflow to the sleeping end was a bit lacking, and being closely surrounded on all sides by traffic and other holidaymakers, we had to keep the blinds right down most of the stay, cutting off what little air flow there was through the louvres. Maybe separate blinds for the large glass windows and the little louvred sections would help. The air con was positioned over the front door, which was the only thing we could keep open for air flow, so it felt wasted. It would be good to have the a/c at the sleeping end, circulating air down there and out through the sliding door. The homes had lovely big front decks though, with lovely views across the tidal river flats, so there was plenty of fresh air available outside.

The park is lovely. Our cabin was very clean and good value. Other visitors were friendly, as were staff. Bed was 10/10 comfy.

Loved my stay at this park. The staff went above and beyond to have my booking organised for a late arrival. The location was amazing, the cabin was spacious with all that was needed. Great spot, I will be back.

The location was ideal. We have stayed before and we took our little beagle called Tuppence. The holiday break before Christmas was ideal for us,and not too far to travel. It was a short walk from our cabin to the beach and we totally relaxed.

We couldn't fault anything!

Staff were very friendly and the tiny house accommodation was amazing. So clean! and it had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend the tiny house accommodation.
