Too much trouble to plug and unplug for making coffee or boiling water at the counter.

Very clean and welcoming. Staff were exceptional. The food was great. The Spa was wonderful. Everything we needed was provided or was available in one of the many in-house stores or eateries. If I ever get back to sydney, hope to stay there again. Would recommend it 200%I

The poor service and lack of empathy given I disclosed my situation. I have never been treated like the hotel manager Benjamin treated me and after staying at the W Sydney @ Darling Harbour and meeting and experiencing such quality and exceptional service for 1 week. Benjamin's poor customer service and how he made me feel as a person/customer I will never return to the hotel. Benjamin made me feel worthless and did not show any empathy or compassion. I will never forget the 1 night experience and how I was treated as a customer.

Movies were all at a cost. When you pay for 5 star it feels chap to charge customers for additional services.

The fragrance at the lobby was a bit too strong. Not the hotel’s fault: there were some main constructions around.

Excellent hotel service! Staff was very friendly and helpful. They provided many different pillow options which gave me a great relaxing sleep!! The room was clean and quiet. There were some great cafes around the hotel. Highly recommended it :)

Didn't like that the bar didn't do bloody Mary's in the morning as there was about 5 people asking for one and the var refused to do them. They make them at the The Star Gold Coast.

First room had a used toilet. Had not been cleaned or flushed with seat up and urine and toilet paper inside

Staff were very apologetic and promptly moved me to a new room. I was upgraded to a Suite which I was incredibly happy about. The new room couldn't have been more perfect. Loved everything about it and will try to book this type of room in future. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Ha! this one's easy. There's nothing that we didn't like.

When my wife and I initially looked at staying is Sydney we thought The Darling was a little above our price point, but we thought 'Why Not' let's treat ourselves. Well, let me tell you... staying at The Darling was possibly the best experience we've had in any kind of accommodation. From the initial discussion with Alan at reception we were made to feel special, getting a card, flowers and a beautiful little treat for our 15-year anniversary. Then there was Ian, my god this man knows how to make guests feel like the center of attention. Taking us aside and providing us with valuable information about our stay and how and what to see around Sydney, Hooking us up on our first morning with a coffee and orange juice, I'm not lying when I say there was no reasonable request that went unheard, Ian was truly brilliant!! Also Cameron at reception who organised a Medic for my wife after she hurt her hip and Habib who took us around Star Casino to show us where everything was. I can go on and on but I think you get the picture... If you stay in Sydney do yourself a favour and stay at The Darling, you wont regret it!!

The gym didnt have many strength machines and no bench to use the free weights.

Particularly appreciated the extra customer care from the staff. Especially the staff that tidy our rooms up

On check out there was a little confusion with food/drink credit. It got rectified fairly quickly.
