Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

ColombiaI wish the breakfast options would have bigger, it was just 3 options, which I had to repeat several times during my 8 day stay. The jacuzzi may need some maintenance as some of the jets don't work.
The hotel is clean, well maintained and with nice kind personnel specially the hardworking ladies at the front desk. The rooms are clean, air conditioned and cable tv. No frills, clean. Elevator and wet areas with Jacuzzi is a big plus. On site restaurant and the front desk sell drinks, beer and snack. Great value and within walking distance (5-10 min) of Metro Ayura

New ZealandThe ac in the room were terrible, could not set it up properly and the window doesn’t open. Breakfast wasn’t that good, juts eggs and arepa, if u don’t like it it’s better to get breakfast somewhere else. The jacuzzi, only one in operation, but the main problem for sure is the guests. They simply don’t let anyone else get in and they spent many many hours in there. So you’ll never use it. The hotel should be more attentive with this.
The location is good, close to Provenza where we spent most of the time. If you don’t want to stay in a hotel full of children and loud people, that’s not a good choice l.

United Statesbeds are rock hard - for the most part this seems to be the case in a lot of hotels in Medellin ( I really like Medellin btw) - hotels and airbnb s don’t seem interested in investing in high quality beds - seems they will buy just the bare minimum in beds with very little cushion - we as clients must start speaking out about how uncomfortable and unacceptable this is
