If was a nicely renovated apparment,with fully equipped kitchen. There was a small garden used as a common space for all guests, with a pool (sadly it was still closed until June) and a fireplace. It a few meters from the main cycle route and close to 2 small restaurants

Hotel Pyramida

The hotel is not far away to the city center and the Train station exactly what we needed. The parking place was important and we got it. 2nd time in Brno and it's a nice City. The train get you anywhere from there. The Old Town is worth to visit 🤗

The location of Julius Prague is very good. It is walking distance to the old town but outside of the touristic areas ( quiet area). Room was big, comfortable and very clean.

- we were lucky that we had a central location - it was not that expensive - we needed only for an overnight, checked in 19:30 and left 08:30; we mostly stayed out in the city

- they have their adress of reception office in booking.com ; then you never know where you will stay. - i tried contacting to reception via whatsapp after i saw comments on booking; they remind you to fill in guest details and enterance time for 3 times, but they reply your question only if you ask again and again (lesson learnt: always check comments!) - i mentioned that i am travelling with my mother, still we had a place without elevator access. - the apartment was not in the one at any of their booking.com listing. What is the idea of having pictures if you are not able to book them anyway! - our apartment was 3 rooms connected to each other, with high ceilings, and every room seemed to be packed with furniture. Every room had a double bed, some had a sofa and tv set; some had other beds, some cupboard and side tables etc. it was a mix of ikea furnitures with very old wooden furniture. - the flooring is alse different from room to room. Wooden ones are noisy, as very old. - bathroom seemed to be renovated, still water was leaking from shower glass side into the floor. No place to hang towels or put shampoo or things - DURING shower, we lost hot water. After some 10-15 mins later it came back to taps. - the kitchen equipment and coffee machine was not appealing to use, and yes without any coffee pod or sugar or similar. - check out means you have to bring back the keys to their office; there is no self check in box etc. - the deposit of 200 euros is a surprise and i hope we don’t get a delay of receiving it back. (lesson learnt: always check comments!)

Karlovy Vary is a beautiful city and the bus connections to the center are good. The rooms were a bit older and haven’t been renovated in a while but are super clean.

For this being a Spa hotel, I would have expected better Spa treatments/massages. I found Spa staff to be rude and unprofessional, getting unnecessarily aggressive and loud to normal questions - the other staff at reception were super nice and kind though.

We reserved two places in the underground garage. When we arrived, we were told, that our cars are too high to enter the garage, although we were told that max height is 1,98m. Our cars are slightly below that height. We checked that in advance. Fortunately we found two parking slots on the street right in front of the hotel. Hotel staff helped us with booking the slots, so in the end everything was fine.
