I was checked in iand assisted with the Hotel Staff Olga at the Front Desk. She was very courteous and friendly. She had given information where to go especially getting around the city. She was very helpful all through out my stay at Hotel Finn. I also enjoyed the Shower and the Bathroom facilities since it’s clean and the water from the shower was very good. I would also commend that the hotel has an excellent location . It’s a few minutes walk to the city and commercial center of Helsinki.

Rooms and Furniture needs to be upgraded. Bed needs more fluffy cushions as well as pillows. TV needs to be upgraded as well. All through out my stay my window was covered with papers and gave me no views at all. I was advised that there was on going construction outside my room. Air conditioner does not work but was provided with a small electric fan which is fine. Other than this had a comfortable and quiet stay at the property.

Nice hotel located short walking distance to all great Helsinki stops like Stockmann store, Ateneum Art Museum, Market square (great place to try Finnish food & buy fresh produce), Senate Square, Botanical garden, Allas Sea pool (must try) and ferry terminal to Suomenlinna. Island. Many nice restaurants and bars nearby.

Close to train station. One of the biggest breakfast spreads I can recall with local specialties (meatballs, spinach pancakes, lingonberries) as well as things like eggs, oatmeal, fruit, pastries and much more.

The dried out banana peel on the radiator, hidden behind the curtain but smelly nonetheless, means that cleaning hasn't been particularly thorough. In all fairness the rest of the room was nice and clean. Also there was very little soap in the dispensers so it was hard to pump any out.
