I only stayed here for 1 night but this hotel is just what I expected. Great location, near to the airport although further from the city centre. I thought the included standard breakfast was incredible. Authentic and made with care. Rooms were clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a great start to my visit to Costa Rica!

The rooms was extremely spacious and comfortable. I am unsure if there were coffee pods for the coffee machine , this may be something to improve on. The shuttle service for the airport was beneficial and convenient.

They were definitely the most pet friendly hotel so far which was great. It was very convenient having the restaurant right there and willing to deliver food to your room. The breakfast was very tasty. The shuttle was punctual and helpful with getting us to the airport for our flight.

One thing La Riviera might want to invest in is a better, bigger van for airport transfers. The current one has seen better days and is a bit cramped.

The only thing I thought could be a little better was the comfort of the mattresses in the rooms. They weren’t bad, just a little hard for my taste. The blankets were very soft and comfy though!

The staff at the hotel and the restaurant were amazingly, friendly and helpful, and the grounds are absolutely beautiful! The AC in the rooms worked great and the pool and gathering spaces outside were wonderful for our group

It was windy and very loud in the room, not sure what the roof is made of but we got no rest. Otherwise the property, services, breakfast, were all good.

Unfortunately, there was a lot of dogs barking at house next door. This was not the hotels fault and we had never experienced it before when staying there.

We have stayed here many times and we highly recommend it to our friends and acquaintances.

Shower pressure in the morning could have been better.

We stayed one night before leaving Costa Rica. Airport shuttle was on time. Dinner at the restaurant the night before was excellent. Staff was very kind.

The standard rooms are a bit dated and they are a bit noisy if other tenants it the surroundings are not quiet.

Very nice staff. Breakfast was good and there's a restaurant where you can also get lunch. Close to the airport which you probably are there for. Pool was nice for the kids to play in. Also done nice trees etc in the grounds making it look nice.

Rooms were little dated, main floor unit was a little cool with change in weather, but overall clean and safe location.

Ideal small boutique Hotel, awesome Restaurant on the property with Italian food. Excellent coffee, pastries, plus enjoyed a great dinner there before our flight home the next day. Transfer shuttle included to and from Airport!

We got picked up from the airport and they also transferred us the next day to our rental car pickup location - so kind! The hotel has it's own restaurant where we experienced the Costa Rican breakfast for the first time. Near the hotel we also managed to get our CR sim card and some groceries so it was a perfect short stay to start our trip!
