Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomNo reception staff on site upon arrival Automated check in that did not work due to incorrect contact details on the system that could not be amended. What should have been my address, email and phone number were in fact belonging to someone at booking.com in Sevenoaks The person on the phone said this was standard procedure, my concern is that I had to submit my email to retrieve my room details I had to ring an emergency number and was told how to proceed and be ready to take a picture of the terminal screen with room number and access code details, this was only on screen for 10 seconds. The concept is great just a shame it doesn't work. The second issue was with breakfast the following morning. I.went to reception to pay for a breakfast and was told in a rude manner and no apology by the member of staff that breakfasts were not available unless paid for in advance. If staff were available when checking in maybe they could have explained this The breakfast area was very quiet and not busy so I'm sure 1 additional space would not cause any issues. The member of staff could have apologised and explained in a more friendly manner These were not isolated issues as a few of the group I was travelling with experienced the same problems No tea making facilities in the room Tea available from a vending machine in lobby that was cash only

Super kind service, room had bigger space than usually, maybe because of the bunk bed. Breakfast was good, and super kind that they had gluten free bread also. Parking is just before the hotel.

United KingdomAir conditioning worked well but with very unpleasant damp smell from it or from the ventilation system as it was in both - hall and room. The shower drain was somehow partially blocked as the water from the shower was draining quite slow, so allowed for very short showers. And the dreaded by others insufficient parking space... - basically after 5pm there's no spaces available outside the hotel, so you're forced to pay for the parking at the autohof next to the hotel. There's no information about that prior the booking - unless you find it here in reviews, the only information about limited parking form the hotel is in the message after the booking is completed.
Heuger at reception desk was nice, apologetic for delay getting to the desk, spoke English well and explained everything quickly and easily to understand. The room was OK size for this type of the hotel, just enough for 2 night stay but I wouldn't like to spend more time there. Location is good, close enough to centre (although we used car not the tram to get everywhere, public transport seem to be frequent). Breakfast was OK but slightly overpriced, not very big choice for buffet really (had better in Germany in smaller or bigger hotels).

United KingdomAs a first timer in Germany we didn't know what to expect for breakfast, and it was strange to have a cold breakfast. Not a negative but it was just unexpected.
Once inside it's very nice, but the location after dark wasn't too inviting as it seems to be locating in an industrial area. There's a tram stop just up the road though so getting around was easy and once we understood where to park in the additional parking area it was pretty straight forward.

Later on staff were unable / unwilling to rectify this although there were adjacent rooms available.

I managed to get a space not too far away, but I used a 'parking' filter when I was booking, so I thought this a bit of a scam. It's hidden away in the small print.

IndonesiaThe room does not have many ammenities. No minifridge, no plates, no spoons, no seating area and the table is tiny. But that being said, it is still good value. You can request for the bowl and the spoon from the reception.
There is an area in the lobby perfect for working. The wifi there is very stable and fast. The location of the hotel is near U bahn. The U bahn can take you straight to the center of the city. Affordable price and quick check in.
