Curtains in room could not close properly. Late night roudy people in parking area!

It is for sure not the top hotel in Bonn but it is vlean, food is good and the situation is good.

Location: as evening dawns all the shady people starts gathering around the hotel area. Room: all rooms have almost direct sunlight, so if you going to go during a hot day! Be prepared the room with be hot! As FYI they only start in July, doesn’t matter how hot it is before that! We had to literally argue with the staff to turn it on and even after that they did it only for one room! Staff: Rude and obnoxious! Even after complaining about the air conditioning, they constantly were telling us that they cannot do anything about the weather! Hotel in General: dimly lit with black interiors and smelly! Although non smoking rooms, almost every corridor was smelling of smoke. Parking: Even after asking for a spot 2 months before, they said no need for it, just come and there will be spots. Surprise! Surprise! They say don’t have enough spots! When asked about other parking areas in the vicinity, they have no idea. Luck by chance I got a glimpse outside there was a Parkhaus just behind the hotel! When asked about a spot inside or whom does the Parkhaus belong to, the answer was always they dunno, and it might be full. Guess what! The whole Parkhaus was empty! Even the areas reserved for Belmont Hotel guests! Such a rip off, they could have simply charged money before and just given me a spot but no drama had to be done!

I may suggest including dinner to the restaurant menu, it only offers breakfast. I arrived late and I was hoping to take dinner at the hotel. There should be more bed covers and a phone in the room to communicate easily with the reception. The hotel is a bit dark and it needs more lightening.

The hotel is nice and convenient, the reception people are very nice and welcoming. The location is great, at the center of the city, all facilities are around. A train stop is at the corner. The area has all the services and facilities and close to the train stop.

Many things in the room and hotel was broken or looking in a poor state, what was repaired was repaired really poorly which does not reflect the price of the night. In addition, numerous noisy comings and goings in the corridors are perfectly audible due to the insufficient insulation.

Overall, the stay was satisfactory, except for the discrepancy with the room. Despite booking a specific room, I was allocated a different one upon arrival, with the explanation that all rooms were fully booked.

It was no soap at all. It was a wet towel on the floor in shower cabin. The water dropped all the time from the tap in sink and in shower cabin too.

Receptionist. I mean, I parked my car outside. A free car parking area. Then. Receptionist told me that I can park my car in front of the hotel. And required 15 euros for parking. I paid. And in the morning, I learned that the first parking area, which I parked my car was free. The hotel forced me pay an extra 15 euros. I am completely sad about this. In fact, I took many photos. Curtains are not covering enough, lot of lights coming in overnight. The led light buttons are cool but they produce an enormous amount of light once is dark.

Being used as a hostel of some sort which was not flagged up. 2 class system at breakfast. Hotel shabby and in need of redecorating. Bathroom had a smell. Some of hostel guests were keeping domestic pets in their bedrooms. No tea/coffee in rooms. No daily cleaning as advertised. Had to ask twice for additional pillows. Radiators scruffy and old.

The room provided (nr 140) was not as the one showed during reservation. Very dark and poor light, kettle, no cups and tea bags as shown in the image of the room.

The hotel location is very good, 3 minutes away from the city center and 10 min walking from the railway station. The staff of the hotel was nice and helpful. As we arrived hours before the opening of check-in (15:00) we were allowed to leave our luggages until the check-in.

I was staying 4 days and never changed the towels. Bath room smell bad. Shower was leaking water and is not hanging. Pillows are not comfortable.
