We had hoped to discover wonderful books as we absolutely love reading. However, the books were all only German and all old and chosen more for decoration (often beautifully colour-coded) than for content. So except for a classic here and there, there were mostly cheap, bad books. Secondhand books are so cheap in Germany, one could so easily upgrade this selection at almost no cost and add a few other languages (at least in the lobby!) for instance.

Good breakfast (EU14), good gluten-free bread (with a toaster which one can use!), wonderful staff. Chris went out of his way to be kind, considerate and professional, but all the staff were lovely and friendly. Good bed, nice interior. Quiet, yet so central. Fresh apples in the lobby which we loved.

Great location; quiet but still close to the city center (just a short walk to restaurants, shops, and sights). Very friendly staff, nicely furnished rooms, speedy internet, good breakfast. Books everywhere! Overall a very pleasant stay.

Not much apart from the online registration procedure where, in order to enter the year of one's birth one must swipe, in my case, some 600 times to reach the desired year. Didn't bother in the end

Hotel Leipzig is located right in the city center of Leipzig - I was there to see the Christmas Market and a Business Meeting, lovely Boutique Hotel, great rooms and very friendly staff, would book there again

I had a single room with two beds and can only use one, so it's a little bit comfortable. Although, I understand that it's said in the booking that single room with two beds.

The location is top. It's just 10 minutes walk from the main station. The room was sparkling clean and the staff are all very friendly. Breakfast is very good.

Apparently an extra city tax had been levied since my booking, so I had to pay more than I was told by booking.com. I do not like this kind of surprise.

it was a nice stylish hotel, not a big chain with generic interior. the lobby already looked welcoming, the room was spacious and inviting. The books added a nice touch. the staff was very friendly. Free filtered water was available, though the tap water is just fine too.

External window blinds couldn't darken the room sufficiently. Shower on/off and temperature controls difficult to operate with wet hands.

Within 10 to 15 minutes walking from the main station and to the old town. Friendly and very helpful staff at reception. Brightly decorated, good sized room with good storage space and quiet aspect as the hotel is away from through traffic routes. Spacious bathroom with good storage space and easy to access shower with good pressure and temperature.  Very good buffet breakfast with good selection of cereals, fruit, yogurt, breads, cheese and meats in a brightly decorated breakfast room. Noteworthy teapots with neat handles.
