About the only thing I didn't like was that we couldn't stay longer - But we are planning to return again next time

We've stayed here previously so we were happy to stay here again It's a quirky place made of stacked cargo containers. The room is long but not especially wide however it is comfortable and well equipped. One end is the lounge area with a sofa and a TV. Comfortable when we were relaxing at the end of the day. Then you have a seperate bathroom in like a big wooden box. At the opposite end is the sleeping area with a big comfortable bed, and the opposite end has a full length window There is a supermarket less than 5 minutes away which was handy for some bread and pastries for breakfast time, a cocktail bar just across the road and a train and bus station behind the cocktail bar with regular trains into the centre of Rostock or buses and trains to the harbour and beach. There is also a bowling alley (Ostsee bowling) less than 5 minutes away Staff at check-in were helpful and friendly and you pay a tourist tax which also includes a free ticket for local transport

This place has it all. Maybe it could have some more solo-traveler activities to meet others.

Friendly staff. Sauna was excellent. Very comfortable and clean rooms/bathrooms. Very large common areas with plenty of games and reading nooks. Breakfast was a good quality classic German breakfast. Maybe a 10/15 min walk to the beach, <1 min from train station. A great affordable base to explore Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

The bunk beds were sort of uncomfortable to sleep on and the room was hot (no air conditioning). Especially the bottom beds, the mattress was too soft and any movement caused the top bunk to shake.

Staff spoke English and German, the Breakfast was excellent, and the facilities were amazing. Located right next to the S-bahn, which is super convenient!

The price was a bit high, I didn't know there was a tax to pay in addition to the price and it was quite high.

The stuff was very kind, the building very cool and there was a nice atmosphere. The breakfast rich and with a huge variety.

Check-in time seems late to me (15:00) and we arrived a bit early and so had to wait to check in. The bunk beds, the way their structured, kind of wiggle when you turn… I found that unsettling and it made me dizzy a bit but it was still comfortable.

As far as hostels go, the property was really clean and well furnished and generally good stay for the amount we paid.

Very good location next to the metro station but close enough to city centre, friendly staff, lots of common areas with games, working station and sofas. The rooms are lovely decorated and clean.

No kettle in a room (theoretically solvable by using the common kitchen). No table. Not many "warm" options for breakfast.

Amazing visual design. Cleanliness. Functionality of a room - very comfy "table" by the bed. Nice view from the window. Well-isolated. The furniture - smell of a wood was very pleasant. Towel-heater. The common areas are designed with love. Breakfast was quite exquisite, with Franzbrötchen!

Cons -room can get warm at night in the summer.. No air-conditioning.. But opening the door and windows help with cooling down the room😉

Pros -LOCATION! 😁 It's near the bus station, train station, grocery stores, and most importantly.. A few minutes away from the beach and restaurants. -Affordable price. -Breakfast 🥣. You need to include breakfast when you book a room. You won't regret it. There's a lot of choices of food here. Loved it. -Sauna! Didn't get to try it but yeah, it's available in this hotel/hostel 😊 after a long day at the beach, you'll need this one before going to bed 🛏 -Happy hours 🍻 -Bed is comfy. I slept well. 😴😴😴❤️ Loved and enjoyed my short stay here. Will probably comeback soon. 😍😍😍
