The apartment was excellent and had been renovated to a very high standard with luxurious touches. Our host met us at check in and it was obvious that he had a great deal of pride in the property. It was exceptionally clean, comfortable and the location was outstanding.

I travel a lot with work and i also like to travel with my family, usually i tend to find fault in hotels and apartments but this time I actually i don’t have any complaints. 5 stars

The property had a lot of care put into it. Half of the furniture is historical and it fits so well with the other half which is modern design. Every corner of the property was well thought out and had a lot of character. The owners are very friendly and they offer good recomandations of what to see or where to eat.

This is a beautifully renovated apartment in a very old building within a few minutes walk of all the major tourist attractions in the old town. The apartment is very comfortable and very modern. Thomas is a welcoming and helpful host. It was a perfect start to our holiday. Thank you Thomas, and congratulations on how well you have renovated the apartments.

This trip to Regensburg was the first trip abroad for my family and a commemorative one. The spacious rooms, luxurious facilities and the warm hospitality of the owner Thomas made our stay the best and most precious. The location is also perfect for sightseeing, restaurants, cafes and shopping. If we have the opportunity to visit Regensburg again, we will definitely choose Domresidenz.

Everything! This was a mum and daughter special pre Christmas trip…. The suite was beautifully appointed with tasteful decor and it absolutely met all our needs. We felt so comfortable and we were personally welcomed by the host. Perfect in every way and in a really central location - we were blown away!!

Lovely apartment in excellent location. Thomas was very friendly and helpful by pointing out good restaurants and showing us around the apartment. The apartment is thoroughly updated with a few reminders of its history; an original stone arch and two big steps to the bedroom but with a sturdy handrail so easy to manage. Having access to laundry was also wonderful during our trip. Comfortable bed, nice kitchen, elevator, lovely furniture (some of it gorgeous antiques!) and set in the middle of old town Regensburg made this a stay we were sorry to leave.

Nothing to mention, it is really an exceptional accommodation :-) . Maybe it worth checking the cooling performance of the fridge (but maybe it was our mistake with the settings)

The accommodation is in the historical city centre, inside a wonderfully renovated building. Modern and historical in parallel with great taste. Really deserves the 5 star rating. Very well equipped kitchen, bathroom and rooms (e.g. audio system). About the placement: Just go out of the door and You are among the historical buildings, houses. About our host: Our host was very polite, helped us to handover the keys, accommodation and provided advices. The preliminary communication with our host was really great and helpful. We got all the answers, advices that we need. ---- Info: if You arrive by car and using the closer parking houses, don't forget to buy a low emission zone sticker (Green sticker, e.g. from TÜV) in advance.

The best apartment I have ever rented. Very close (8 minutes by walk) from the Train Station and located just in the heart of the city. Magnificent apartment combining antique classics and elegant, modern style. Everything is impeccable: the style of a medieval house has been preserved (including selected and restored furniture) and modern household appliances. Special thanks to Thomas for a short tour. Highly recommend staying at least two nights in the beautiful city of Regensburg for a real medieval vibe instead of booking a tour from Munich. And of course stop in this beautiful apartment.

This is a fabulous property located in the heart of the historic part of Regensburg. The decor is beautiful while sensitive to its history. The apartment is extremely well appointed with lovely linen and fabulous beds. The host was very welcoming and took great pride in the property.

There were no comfortable sitting chairs or sofa to sit and read. The white plastic chairs with arm rests were a bit hard to sit on for extended times.

Elegant, classic, and modern. Everything was spotless, all the appliances worked and were up-to-date, and the bathroom had an excellent ambiance with a lovely shower (switch to change to waterfall/showerhead). What made this more of an outstanding stay was the friendly host (Thomas), who gave a brief tour and provided recommendations of where to dine.

The location is excellent - right in the middle of the old town and very close to most historical attractions, along with a large choice of restaurants and cafés, and even a few supermarkets within a 5mn walk. Our host Thomas was great, he gave us excellent directions to find the place and to park our car nearby; he helped us with our luggage, and even provided us with an annotated map of the city with his recommendations for food. Checkout was painless. The apartment was a delight. The mixed style of antique walls and furniture and modern comfort (fantastic beds, hi-speed wifi, music system and amenities) was a real pleasure. It was a really gem and our only disappointment was that we could not extend our stay :)

This is a newly renovated apt style lodging in the heart of Regensburg. The interior is beautiful and very well appointed, mixing antique furniture with modern interior design. The beds are also some of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in anywhere in the world! Everything is just so well thought of at DomResidenz…even easy access to wifi via a QR code on the door. I can go on and on but this is the perfect location for travelers who want to explore but also be comfortable once they return to their lodging. 10/10 and highly recommended.
