Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SwitzerlandNothing really. The location is not very central to Leipzig, but the tram station is a 10min walk away, so the center maybe 20mins.
The Restaurant next door, where breakfast was served, was just phenomenal. Food was delicious, service very attentive, ambience very special. Room was perfectly clean, very generous bathroom with rainshower. They called me to ask for my breakfast preference.

BelgiumMusic of the restaurant was a little loud in the evening. We could hear it in our room. Luckily it stopped at around 10:30 PM.
Beautiful hotel situated near the highway. Public transport however was not far away so the center of the city could be easily reached. Very friendly staff. The room was clean and modern. Breakfast was more than ok. The hotel also has a very good restaurant.

United KingdomWe had an evening check in and when we arrived there was nobody at the front desk. The restaurant next door is owned by the same people so popped over there to get assistance but it would be useful to have a sign at reception to instruct people of what to do if nobody is there on guest's arrival.
We wanted a location close to the motorway so this was perfect for us. The deluxe room was a great size and meant that we could really relax on arrival.

United KingdomThe location was a little out of town but it was a short walk to a tram stop which took us to the city centre in about 10 minutes.
The hotel was new and finished to a very high standard. The staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Our room although small was comfortable and well equipped. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.

Italylocation is farther away than you can imagine, no elevator, having a room at the third floor is not pleasurable if you have some luggage, breakfast as poor and cheap as possible, internet speed heavily limited by in house proxy, view on a metal recycling plant, pillows that seemed football balls (too high and too hard), heavy plastic under the sheets… shall I continue? for the price, a nonsense.
