Nothing to clean the gym equipment with. Asking people to use a towel is right, but you still need to clean after and there is nothing provided to do so. It was cold in the room. I turned the heat to max to not be chilly but that didn't help. It wasn't very clean, a lot of dust, you could see the room only gets a fast cleanup with the obvious places but it's not thorough.

Friendly and helpful staff, especially the young 'kamerad' at the breakfast room who runs around for help with a positive attitude and the night shift reception staff who provided ice cubes for injury. Location is very good. Breakfast is rich and tasty. Our room was spacious and bright.

The bathroom was small. Especially given I had crutches which made using a bathroom with a slight step more difficult. The shower space was a good size but the sink and toilet space really small. (Btw: I ack that I went for a standard double room, I still expected less cramped bathroom, would have been okay , but with crutches it was difficult)

Clean. Modern hotel. The breakfast was superb. Lots of variety. The hotel was easy to find and get a taxi to. The reception were very friendly and they even have left over cutlery in case you decide to take away in the evening. The room was modern and clean.

I paid extra to upgrade to a double room but then was told after i pad the money over that a single room had a free mini bar. Couple of other minor niggles but the location is superb. 50 metres behind Ka de We .

Nothing at all. At this price point, the Scandic provides everything I expect and more. So - nothing to complain about.

I stayed here for the second time, and this time I had a slightly bigger room. Very comfortable and clean, and certainly spaceous enough for me - would also have been OK for a short stay with my partner. Breakfast is exceptional for the price, including an option to make one's own smoothies and waffles. Normally I don't have breakfast in Hotels because it's almost never worth the price, but here I don't fail to book it.

This is my favourite place to stay in Berlin and I’ve been here loads of times now. It has good facilities, like a sauna/steamroom and a good little gym. There’s a great selection of healthy and indulgent options for breakfast. Friendly staff. Location is handy for public transport and local shopping. The included minibar is a nice bonus too.

One thing I would like to improve is that the fridge in the hotel room was empty, but if a minibar service was offered, it would mean extra profit for the hotel and extra convenience for customers.

It was my first experience with the Scandic Hotels chain and I found them to be client-friendly and convenient from all points of view. A large room with almost all the amenities for a comfortable stay, including such facilities as an iron, kettle and fridge. Good soundproofing, comfy bed and cleanliness. Large windows with city view and terrace (my room was on the 5th floor). Very reasonable value for money.

I've been to a couple of Scandic Hotels in Norway, and the positive experience (including the awesome breakfast) carries over to the European hotels. I will definitely be back!
