No bath/toilet in the room - the shared batheoom/showers/toilets were really fine though. We knew about it beforehand and decided it was ok for us. If you want maximum privacy and not meet other people you might want something different.

Very cozy, uncomplicated, well-organized. Bed was comfortable, room had a nice view, location was perfect for us. The kitchen had everything we needed, more than enough space in the fridge. We didn't meet any of the staff during our stay, but we didn't need to. We were contacted before our arrival via message and via phone, had all the info we needed and felt well taken care of.

There was no WiFi active during my stay, and the noises from the bathroom could wake one up if sleeping. There is also no elevator so if you have luggage keep in mind that you will have to carry it up stairs.

The quirky style and location were great! It was clean and cosy. I had a big room with a sofa to relax on, a desk space with mirror, cupboard, and a giant bed.

there is only one thing to say. Everything about the small hostel is better than words. like a family, both individually furnished, with everything you need in the kitchen and room. The interaction with the owner and other guests is / was harmonious to friendly. Nothing is missing in terms of well-being in the rooms. The connection to culture, near Querstraße as well as to the city and to the train station, is absolutely great and can be reached almost 24 hours from the front of the house. The hostel is definitely worth a further journey, my choice of nights again = definitely!

It was a really great experience. We only stayed for one night as an over-lay for a concert we were going to. The entry into the hostel was easy. The codes that were sent to us in advance worked perfectly. Our room was tidy and clean. They even got us covered with towels. The entire property was really really clean. Especially the bathrooms! Even the showers and toilets. It had a great ambiance. The location was amazing too. It only took us about 10mins to get there wit the tram. There were cute cafés and restaurants right next to the hostel! And even a supermarket. Everything was in walking distance. Even our concert hall ;) (big plus for that)😍. We didn’t use the kitchen or any group room, so I cannot judge about this but everything else was amazing. It was also really quite in the hostel but if you feel like it, they even offered free ear plugs. Overall a 10/10 experience and would absolutely go there again!

Not a big fan of shared bathroom but it was clear in the description so I knew it going in.

The staff was incredibly friendly, and the place had a quirky, fun decor. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the kitchen felt warm and well-stocked. The giant round bed was equipped with a fantastic mattress, providing me with the best sleep I've had in weeks. I couldn't pinpoint whether it was the mattress or the overall zen atmosphere that contributed to my great rest.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Spirit Lodge in Leipzig. The place is beautiful and very clean, the staff is really friendly, its located in a beautiful area full with nice restaurants, cafes and nature. Its only a short tram ride to the city center. I will definitely be back!

You receive the instructions how to get to the property around 24 hours before your check in time. If you travel without roaming and/or wi-fi, you can just miss that letter. I would suggest informing the guest once the payment has been made.

It was my 2nd time in Leipzig and the 2nd at Spirit Lodge as well. If you like 'Twin Peaks', you'll probably enjoy your stay: most of the things there are made of wood, which gives the property the vibe of The Great Northern hotel from the TV show. The facilities are excellent, there's everything you may need for a short stay. Sebas, the property manager, was really helpful and let me use a laptop for a while.

The only downside is the parking - I travel by motorbike and finding a safe place was difficult. For the car is no problem I think, there was a lot of place. But the neighborhood does not encourage you to leave your motorcycle on the street. I found the private place at least.

This place really has a spirit. I was surprised. Clean and original. View from the window in the evening very nice. This place is not just a hotel.
