How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The closed had a funny smell and all the clothes catched that smell.
All the staff has friendly, they helped us with everything we wanted.

The location is far away from the city center. It takes you 10 minutes walk to the train station plus around 30 minutes by train. No supermarkets nearby.
The hotel has rooms with kitchenette. They also provide kitchenware. Very convenient if you stay in Munich for more than a week.

In rooms with kitchenette, frying pan and frying spoon should be provided.

Good location and great value of money In check in i got room with smelly bed and linen and blanket but the reception guy (faris) was very helpful and offer new room directly and showed me the new room first before booking it and for that I really wanted to thank him in public for being kind and wants my staying comfortable

I stayed here twice in 10 days, a good hotel with a nice location. Parking is comfortable and there are many parking lots. The rooms are big enough, restaurant serves delicious food.

Breakfast was delicious. The location is close to the motorway which is good if you travel by car. The rooms are clean and quite large. The staff was kind and friendly. There is a big shopping mall 3 km away from the hotel. The parking places are comfortable and safe. I'll stay here again.

The hotel is marketed here as a smoke-free property. There are ashtrays at the front door of the building, which means you have to walk through smoke and smokers when entering or leaving via the entrance. If the property is smoke-free, then this should not be happening. Booking.com should also be monitoring this as it's their site which is publishing this misleading information. I am not sure if it's really a complaint, but the train is a quick 10-minute walk away, which really is great because people need to exercise more anyway. Nothing else bad, a pretty exceptional hotel.
The hotel is in a quiet location and is very clean and tidy. The staff are always helpful and polite. There is always someone there if you need help. You can get snacks and drinks from a self serve area at the front of the hotel.

Getting around inside the hotel was tough. There were loads of passages connecting one wing to another.
The Wyndham Garden Munich Messe hotel provides comfortable and pleasant accommodation for travelers visiting Munich. I liked the cozy decor and the availability of necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The service at the hotel deserves high praise. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with any questions or requests. Check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free. One aspect that particularly impressed me was the presence of indoor parking at the hotel, along with the option to choose between complimentary street parking or paid indoor parking. This added convenience made it easy to securely park my vehicle according to my preferences and needs. Overall, my stay at the Wyndham Garden Munich Messe hotel was pleasant and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel for both business trips and leisure stays while visiting Munich.

After check in the refund policy is tough we needed to check out 2 days earlier and that was 24 hours earlier but hotel deduct one night cancellation fee and refund for us only one night . As per booking call they confirm to me that hotel can refund the 2 nights

Big hotel with a variety of different room types. Rather clean. Parking lot (free) + parking garage (fee). Easy to reach by car from autobahn
