The staff are really exceptional, I had a headache and one of the nice and friendly staff, gave me medicine of her own. The breakfast was really delicious and you have various of choices.the bed specially pillows are comfortable and good.

A good quality hotel in a small town along the lake, about a 5 minute walk to the waterfront (a park on the water, the rest of the lake along the route having private access). Pleasant town, friendly people. The hotel was nice, and as expected. The host very welcoming, the room very clean, but basic (I had a single room as a solo traveler). Dining facilities are excellent - including the outside deck. Check in and check out very easy. Good value for the money given it is the height of the summer season.

We were woken up at 8 am by staff wanting to clean the room, despite the departure time being stated as 11 am.

It was central and had a car park.

It was a shame that the restaurant was closed during our stay. The room could have a fridge and air conditioner instead of a fan. Too many stairs - a lift would be a good property investment.

The beds were a bit creaky.

Spacious room for the extra cot needed for our small son. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was really good although I would have liked a refill of croissants and Speck, at 9:20 there was none left.

There was no lift. Our room was two flights of stairs from the ground floor entrance. This would preclude us visiting again.

Hotel was a bit out of town but bus service was good so it wasn't a problem.

A bit off the beaten path and no other dinner places close enough to walk to but the on-site restaurant was really great , Reasonable price point and large portions . I had the Turkey Schnitzel with a great small salad and my wife had a turkey strip salad - both were excellent. The Apfel Strudel was better than great !! We were across a narrow street in the Gaushause - not in the main building but the room was large , very clean and very bright . Wonderful bathroom and comfortable bed . A/C was good . No lift but only one flight up . Excellent locked and covered bike storage.

We were booked in for 5 nights so was very disappointed in our room rather box room which was next to kitchen and breakfast room and we were awoken by noise talking and smell of coffe at 5 in the morning. Had stayed ladt year and had a much better room and more space but then I hadn't booked with bookings.com With regard to the hotel they did not put themselves out this year with regards to assisting or help with requests for pillows or water after 9 to be honest the staff on duty were quite rude

I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Gasthof Zum Rössle with my wife and two children en route to Disneyland Paris. The experience was top-notch from the get-go. We were initially given a room designed for three persons, but upon noticing this, the attentive staff promptly rectified the situation, providing us with a more suitable room. The breakfast served was another high point of our stay. A variety of options were available, all delicious, ensuring a great start to our day. Additionally, the hotel’s location in the city proved to be a boon. We enjoyed exploring the charming surroundings and found the local area to be delightful. One feature we particularly appreciated was the quiet nature of our room. This, combined with the comfortable beds, ensured we were well-rested for the next leg of our journey. A mention must also go to the parking facility available at the hotel. This was an added convenience we greatly valued. In conclusion, our stay at Hotel Gasthof Zum Rössle was a memorable one. Availability, staff always ready to help, the room was clean and spacious with everything required for a good stay, we were traveling with a small dog and even it was comfortable. The hotel is in the great place near the highway and offers good breakfasts and the dishes in the restaurant is really delicious.
