Breakfast, the food we had was fine, service not so good, they automatically brought out coffee we and other guests had to go round table to table to obtain condiments etc because after asking they never seemed to arrive, in fact the lady on the next table waited at least 20mins for a small bowl of tomato after asking. Also part used cartons of fruit juice placed on the tables. All in all not the best experience.

We went half board but was a little disappointed with the food - not a great choice and rather bland. The food in the cafe next door though, where we went for lunch, was great though so I would recommend staying room only and eating there.

The spa was amazing - pure paradise! the decor in the hotel was very grand - felt like a museum - lots of history to read up about.

The restaurant staff were nice. The food was diabolical. The choice was minimalistic meat or fish. Quality I would give 1out of 10. If you want to go on a starvation diet this is the place for you. The tablecloth which was paper was never changed day to day. It was covered in food and wine stains. Breakfast was one small roll one slice of processed cheese and processed ham . On the side you had a small dish of tomato. Nothing else. I would say the pools are excellent but I feel that in the night time session children should have to leave the pool at 11pm. If you were on a romantic break it would be marred by children screaming,jumping in the pools and generally being unruly.

The baths were excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The cafe near the baths was ideal.

We booked breakfast as part of our package what a disgrace we had a rubbish roll and jam & butter but we asked 10 tunes for tea ( nope ) brought us coffee and then people around us had orange juice so we asked for orange juice and 15 minutes later they bring this awful tasting liquid the service was shocking to say the least and then we checked out and at reception the guy says oh you took orange juice at breakfast that’s €8.58 extra for one my god what a rip off shameful service and shocking to be treated like this

The receptionist was amazing on check in letting us check in early and use the thermal pools

Food is nothing special very simple. Just to not be hungry.

We was in the hotel Balneario for 3 days with my girlfriend and we pass an excellent time in the Circuito termale and on the playa pool. Good price for what you receive. Mari Carmen in the restaurant hotel Balneario is an excellent person and will take care of you .

Room facilities - no tea/coffee/water and nowhere nearby to buy anything. Meal times were stuck to - We had a 10 am appointment in Fortuna but breakfast was served 10-12 with no option to get anything earlier. Told to stamp on ants in my room before they gave me some ant spray!

The actual area was really chilled and had lovely views over the mountains and food at the hotel was good. Bed was comfortable and housekeeping staff were lovely. Short drive from Fortuna
