If you are looking for a Hostal that is clean, comfortable, relaxed, and in a great location, stay here! The manager and staff are very friendly and professional. The indoor and outdoor common spaces are charming, and the rooms are simple and conducive to a good rest after a day of exploring. I loved having big windows in the room that offered natural light and could be opened for fresh air. There is a direct bus from the airport that stops a quick 12-minute walk away. Metro is also an option. I would definitely stay here again.

Bunk Beds were comfortable but they did moved a little bit, nothing to bother me personally but might be worth considering if you're a light sleeper. This doesn't take anything away from the good experience though.

Location is amazing, easy access by public transportation from the airport and you can pretty much walk to everywhere. The host Patrick and all the staff I crossed were very welcoming and helpful all throughout the stay. The common areas and bathrooms were kept clean all day, very rare in hostal so I appreciated it a lot! You have access to the kitchen and fridge so that's a plus. Overall a great experience, I'd definitely recommend this hostal.

Everything was clean and comfortable, super homey place and it was an amazing first hostel experience! The communal area was super relaxed, with music, books, a guitar, tv, clean kitchen and great terrace area. I was in a room that was for 4 girls, but it was just me and one other girl so it was super quiet and very enjoyable.

My only complain is that some toiletries were lacking in the bathrooms. Wish we could've stayed longer though!

Our host, Patrick, was exceptionally friendly, personally greeted us, and even gave us recommendations for where to go in Barcelona. We had a private room for 3 and the beds were very comfortable (almost too comfy that it was hard to get going in the morning), the staff refreshed our towels and made our beds daily, and the bathrooms were kept clean. Also, the showers were amazingly powerful! We had a fantastic stay and would definitely stay at Barcelona Central Garden Hostel again!

The location is perfect, very central. Patrick is the best host, very kind and friendly. The beds were so comfy, everything was ultra clean all the time. Bed sheets were also clean and comfy. I especially loved the common area that you can use. Everything was 10/10 in general, strongly recommending!

In the morning there was a bit more of a wait for the bathrooms when there are more guests. But that was fine, you just have to be patient!

Patrick is wonderful - friendly, helpful and professional. The other guests were also friendly. Clean facilities and I appreciated the option of using the kitchen.

Easy access to Metro and Casa Batllo. Very warm and friendly owner. I slept in a four bed ladies dorm with window to Main Street, however it was quiet by 11:00. They have a large fridge and cooking facilities and comfy sofas.

There was only one bathroom (shower and toilet in one room). This was ok given that it was off-peak as it was pretty much always vacant, but would be an issue during a busier time.

Staff were very friendly. The hostel was quiet, and in a great location. I was able to get everywhere I wanted by either walking or via the very connected metro station nearby. I was in a dorm room, which included a locker and key (no need to bring your own padlock!). Towel and linen also included.
