The road up to it had quite deep potholes after the rain.

It was a lovely respite from a long journey. Toledo is nearby for dining.

Only the sat nav route to the property which is impassable but Karen gives you the right route to avoid this.

We didn’t have breakfast as we were on our way early but Karen was a lovely hostess. Will be returning on our way back in May!

Directions to the house using both in built sat nav and google maps take you to a very unmade road. Please use the directions that the owners send to you

Friendly rural casa with great views. Ideal for a stop over and within 15 minutes of Toledo centre. Comfortable bed and well equipped bathroom. For us the big plus is that Cigarral del Pintor allow big dogs to stay. All be it for a 12.50€ supplement

The road to the hotel is a bit uneven due to recent bad weather but in fairness the owners did inform us of a different route in. This really is only a minor thought, not a reason for not going.

What a brilliant stay.It was a real pleasure staying here. The building is wonderful and location is special. The owners are delightful as are the other staff. Dog friendly and safe parking. The breakfast was really enjoyable. This is really a special place. Also Toledo is a lovely small city well worth a visit

This is a beautiful house with so much character and idelic views of the mountains in Toledo, Karen was very helpful and welcoming and the room was very spacious and comfortable! The attention to detail in making guests enjoy the stay is perfect would definitely book again and highly recommend for staying in Toledo! The breakfast was also excellent while enjoying the views

There was a little bit of dirt road to reach the property. It wasn’t a dislike, but something to be aware of.

The staff were amazing. They were friendly and helpful, full of recommendations for things to do. The property was gorgeous.

Everything! Gorgeous views and garden; such comfortable pillows and bed; the painter themes throughout are well done; a family atmosphere; a good map of the city and recommendations for food and parking and more…

Room rather small, just next to the reception, bed not comfortable, not good soundproofing, swimming pool not very clean, owner's dogs were barking, staff put loud music but shut it down when we complained, access road difficult

Big establishment house with many rooms in the middle of nowhere in the Spanish countryside. A good sized swimming pool, good sized bathroom, we dinned in , staff were kind enough to prepared pasta for us which was good, nice view of the sunset from the garden area

Difficult to comment with exception of directions . Accept it’s a rural location which will Naturally come with its challenges . Once owners directed us to nearby Marriott it was easy .

General style was well thought . Super quiet location but within east reach of the city . Good room size and varied breakfast . Extremely friendly and helpful owners .

Max & Karen were ace!!! We had a wonderful 3 day break from the heat in Madrid! We just loved it, oh and so did our retriever Jells🐾🐾👍👏👏👏

Earlier breakfast would have been good, didn’t start until 0900 and we had to leave before then.

Location more out of the way than we planned. Dinner was simple but enjoyable. Room was very comfortable and all pet friendly

We actually liked everything! My only though is that the walls are too thin and you can hear your neighbors as if they where in the same room.

The house is very pretty, not far from the city (15 min with car), the pool was amazing for a hot day, it has very nice views from the different balconies and the staff is very attentive and helpful.
