How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The amenities were just as pictured on the booking.com website. The food at the restaurant was really good and so was the breakfast. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I had a fantastic stay and would definitely recomendaciones this hotel.

It's a small thing, but the music that is played in the lobby and by the pool does not fit this place. It's more irritating than relaxing.
I chose this hotel because of its design and I was not disappointed. It's stunning. We spent a lot of time by the pool and really relaxed. We were out of season and had the terrace and pool practically to ourselves. The breakfast was delicious. We had a superior room on the first floor and it was really fantastic.

The size of the room was small; however, it was expected prior to booking since I did some research. Also we did not see a coffee machine in the room. But again, the service staff were so accommodating and we were able to get fresh coffee downstairs.
The location was excellent (was visiting due to participating in a local marathon), staff is friendly and service was amazing (very accommodating), and tasty breakfast with a lot of local food options.

No complaints, everything was better than expected.
The room was immaculate, as well as the rest of the hotel. Was amazing to be able to sit by the beautiful pool, very serene. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Palma.

A bit far away from public parking for rented cars.
Very cousy, relaxed atmoshpere, nice patio with the swimming pool (small) but enough to have total relax. Very nice bar with incredible service, high level breakfast. Very good and nice staff, high level cleaness!

Air condition is set and cannot go below a certain temperature. It was very hot outside and we had to have an additional fan to sleep. This point could be improved easily

Everything about this hotel is fantastic. The rooms are done to an incredibly high standard, the food and the facilities are excellent, the staff are some of the friendliest I have ever come across. We were made to feel very at home throughout our stay. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Palma.

The bar man at the pool got very busy during lunch and was often getting ice or food. During those times I feel having two people, one manning the bar and one running the food and drinks, would have been better.
Location was perfect. Everything was only a 15 min walk away maximum. On the day we left we were allowed to continue using the facilities after checking out. The use of the gym shower before getting the flight was also really nice to freshen up after sitting by the pool in the sun all day.
