Convenient location, nice hotel, would stay again

All good - location is near the centre of Alcala de Henares, the bedroom a very good size as was the bathroom, and all very clean. Complimentary bottle of water was appreciated. I had minimal contact with the staff, just a quick efficient check-in and check-out. The central patio is nice. Something to note would be an apparent lack of an elevator, perhaps check if there is a ground floor room if an issue. Nothing negative to report, I would stay here again.

Unfortunately some rooms have connecting ventilation, so of guests in nearby room smoke, the smell gets into other rooms.

    Nice location and comfy rooms

Relaxing stay in a wonderful old building, in the heart of a medieval city

It is a small thing only and probably something some people appreciate, but in one corner of the breakfast room there was a TV showing the world news, much of which is bad! Maybe we should have a quiet breakfast before having to hear all that bad news. It's only a small thing, but some gentle classical Spanish guitar music would get my vote instead!

Evenia Alcala Boutique Hotel is for people who are tired of boring modern hotels with no character. It sits in the middle of an ancient town and as a result, is part of the history of Alcala de Henares. So on walking from your room through the inner courtyard, you are reminded of it's history. When you exit the main entrance, you are in the middle of the old town and ready to explore its bars, shops and restaurants on foot. The main Cervantes house and museum is a 5 minute walk. Rooms were quiet and comfortable. The cellar, where you take breakfast was unique, since you sit in what was once an active working cellar, still looking like it did hundreds of years ago. Staff were friendly and attentive. While breakfast was self service, on each morning we were asked did we have everything we needed.

The room was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Unable to comment on breakfast as we went out to meet our son elsewhere. The staff were very welcoming and allowed us to leave our suitcase at the hotel for the morning after we checked out of our room.

Not much, bathroom was a bit (very) basic but it was a really convenient and appealing little studio apartment.

Right in town, cheap and cheerful but everything you need. Not swanky but well serviced and everything you need is youre looking for functional and a great location.

The cathedral's bells start ringing sometime around 9am. This adds some atmosphere unless you are trying to sleep in.

Located very close to Alcala's main square, large comfortable room, nice common area and historic design.

Breakfast site and foods could be better: too small and noisy by a large TV. My room had a strong scent to tobacco. that I reported. Problem with shower handles.

Water leaking through bathroom roof when it rained and we had to stay because they didn’t have another room and it was too late to get a room at another hotel. We left the next day.

Beautiful and reflective of the city where Cervantes was from.

I was assigned a room on the ground floor, right in the heart of the central patio. The only source of natural light in my room was a window overlooking the patio, which barely could be used while having your privacy. This window did not bring in sufficient sunlight, and the room remained rather dim throughout the day. At night, the noise from people socializing in the patio or passing by on the stairs to the upper floors became quite disruptive.

The building is historical, unique and visually very appealing with nice staff. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and equipped for a pleasant stay.

Having previously booked a space in the garage we were told on the morning that the garage was being painted. We were advised of nearby parking but I had to ring to find out the address. There’s no bar on site although there are spaces to relax in throughout the hotel.

The location is good and the hotel Is located in a beautiful building. The room itself was of a good size and the bathroom was okay. Breakfast was good and plentiful.

A little noise form other rooms. Parking the car next door of the hotel, is handy but you have to get the receptionist to unlock the doors then drive in. Access after is good from inside hotel.

New interior. Walk in shower. Comfy beds. power socket each side of bed. Spacious. Modern. Window shutters. Breakfast served in the underground cellar - cool!

No fault of the hotel but the local authorities seem to constantly change the road access so best advice is to check google maps just before you get there.

We have stayed there several times before so we know what to expect. All good.
