How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Location it’s amazing just in the middle of soho district, the facilities are just new, very clean, I love it, and the personnel it’s very gentle (Teresa), apart from that I highly recommend to stay in

The only thing: one more dishwashing tab and an extra garbage bag would be great 😊
Very spacious, clean and modern. Great location - everything in walking distance, yet quiet. Baby bed was already set up when we arrived. Also very clean and new.

These apartments are fantastic they are in a great location, and they are cleaned and maintained to a very good standard. I would highly recommend these if you stopping longer than 3 days it has great coffee shops around shops to get snacks and it's a very quiet place to sleep. HIGHLY recommended

Not anything in particular. Maybe that the door code really stops working after certain time on the check out day so you have to make sure you don't leave anything behind otherwise there is nobody at the reception to help.
Very good facilities and location. Very clean inside throughout. Smart TV so the kids can watch Disney+, netflix etc.

Nothing. It honestly was great.
It was very clean and comfortable. The shower was very good - powerful and easy to change temperature. The beds were comfortable. Great location - in the middle of soho but still quiet. Very secure.

We had a great stay during our 15 nights. The welcome and constant care and attention from Teresa was pleasant and made our stay even nicer. The location was perfect just a few minutes from the port or the historic centre. The location was very nice, surrounded by nice restaurants and cafes. The nearest supermarket was located just 2 min by walk, which was very convenient for our longer stay. The apartment itself was well-appointed, everything was super clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We were only two staying in a two bedroom apartment, however, it would be perfectly suitable for 4 pax. We highly recommend this place and look forward to coming back.

Although the kitchen is well equipped, a minimum amount of basic ingredients (salt, sugar, oil, etc.) should be available.
Beautiful apartment, modernly decorated and very clean. We had a beautiful terrace with a nice view. The location is excellent, close to very good restaurants and shops. Although it is close to the center, there is no noise because there is no traffic through the street. Honest recommendation!

The actual door to the apartment has a key code to get into it. It is very touch sensitive and you can so easily type in the wrong code, but after a couple of days we got us to it.
The apartment was very well located to get everywhere. It is also only 5 mins from the train station, to and from the airport. It was a very modern and clean apartment and we were all very impressed. I just have to mention Teresa who answer all my question about our trip to the apartment prior to us arriving and we got to meet her when we arrived. Thank you very much Teresa.

Very nice apartment, well equipped and close to a lot of attractions. A lot of restaurants nearby. We enjoyed the morning coffee on the sun terrace and appreciated the complimentary coffee and water. Easy access for checking in and out. Totally recommend it.

The area doesn’t have anything of interest. We lacked confidence in the staff member to keep our luggage and arrange a taxi. It all worked out but the luggage is stored in a room that is accessible to anyone
