How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The bed mattress and pillow were to firm for my taste and I could not use the bathtub because it was to high and dangerous for an elderly person.

The outdoor pool was closed, but yet it was still in the high twenties degrees

Breakfast should be included on the price.
Super location if you are in Malaga for business, 5 minutes away from the train station and bus station. Beautiful view from the room (6 floor)

200 a night and housekeeping only made beds.. would have liked them to clean the floors as we had sand on the floor for the 3 days.

We stayed here overnight before getting our flight back home to the UK from Málaga. The hotel is a short walk from the train station and bus from Málaga airport, so is a perfect location for this. The hotel was very clean, comfortable and excellent service from the staff on reception. We also liked that we could walk to the beach and go for a swim on our last day in Spain. We visited the larger beach as you turn right out of the hotel. There is also a supermarket along the beach front. In the morning we turned left outside the front of the hotel and walked for around 20 mins where there were lots of nice cafes and the cathedral. We were also able to keep our bags at reception after check out the following morning which was really helpful

Limited changing facilities for the spa.

Hotel, a bit in the middle of nowhere. 10 min walk to the beach, 15 min walk to the old town. Not much to do or see around the Hotel. Rooms messing balconys. Swimmingpool inside the Hotel complex, no view and less Sun.
Nice contemperary hotel in the Malaga harbour area. Big rioms with effective AC. Nice breakfast and good fasilities with Swimmingpool, gym and Sauna

Nothing. I chose the room location, and with that decision, it was busy with traffic. My choice.That aside, we slept.
It was beautifully decorated and immediately stunning. Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, our room was large, spotless and tastefully decorated with a view towards the docks..The breakfast is one of the best experienced. Everyone could be accommodated. We ate in one evening and it too was of a high standard and the staff were lovely staff. Finally the bed was perfect.

I had no negative experience. However, when I saw the reference to a spa on their website, I assumed that there were more facilities such as facials. Hairdressers etc
It was spacious and comfortable and there was a decent shared space for relaxing

The pool area was very small and couldn’t have a chill day by the pool. Regarding the rooms they were very spacious but with a twin room, one side didn’t benefit the air conditioning as the other side so didn’t have the best sleep. Would stay again though
It was immaculate. Staff were very helpful and the breakfast was amazing

The room was too hot and dark. There is airco, however, I prefer to sleep without it.
Close to the train station to the airport, easy access to city center, comfortable beds and breakfast was ok.

The location. You had to walk about 15 minutes just to reach a cafe. The additional charge of 30€ for my dog. Booking.com quoted a rate of 25€ and it was not prominently displayed on the website.
The hotel was very clean and the decor was nice. The food I ordered through room service was good

Parking was good but a little expensive.
Good bedroom, very comfortable. Excellent breakfast and good location, close to Maria Zambrano Station and Metro to city center.

We were sold an upgrade package when we checked in..this included a bigger room and the mini bar restocked each day but it was only restocked once. We had stayed for 4 days.
