Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

LatviaPlease note that the hotel is next to a nightclub and you will hear music in your room until 3:00 am. We didn't mind, but you have to expect that it won't be a quiet and peaceful stay. There are too few sun beds by the pool. Not one of the 4 days we stayed did we find a spot by one of the pools. The pool attendant just pointed out that there were no seats. For a hotel of this class you would expect sun beds on the beach to be included in the price. A sun bed on the beach cost 100€ per hotel guest per day. Breakfast could be better.
A great place! Ideal location; beautiful garden, breakfast with sea view. Excellent staff - genuinely care about the customers. Heated pools. The Gaia restaurant was excellent. We stayed 4 nights and went to Gaia 2 nights.

LuxembourgOnly thing is, if your for a good night rest you have to ask for a quite room because if you have a room above the central plaza you will have noise till late at night or ofc you just join the party.
The Nobu is absolutely amazing! The staff is super helpful and the rooms are spot clean. The hotel has many pools (heated) to chill around and access to the beach. The breakfast is at the beach and the quality is absolutely amazing.

United StatesThere was nothing we didn’t like. But a few suggestions: it would be great to be able to avail of the breakfast option for Puente Romano guests and vice versa. For a week-long stay a little variety would be nice. Also pool chairs were €100 to rent which is crazy. Seems like that might not be the case in high season but it meant we didn’t go to the beach at all.
Everything was exceptional. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and the service was incredible, especially the breakfast staff, housekeeping, and pool staff. Food was delicious. We especially loved Sea Grill. Rooms are comfortable and really nice.

NetherlandsBathrooms are spacious and very clean but a bit outdated
As a regular guest of the Nobu Hotels the Marbella location is slightly different. It is part of the Puente Romano resort, which i think really cool. Some of worlds best restaurants are located directly next to the hotel so no need to worry to find some good food!! (i think this is the most epic place of Cipriani, such a cool, relaxed vibe) The breakfast isnt the regular nobu menu or at the restaurant of Nobu but at Chironguito, which has the most lovely staff of the resort, and the food is also very good (but i would prefer Nobu breakfast). Also, the Nobu restaurant opens at 19.00 which is a pity as i love to do some lunch.

United KingdomThere wasn’t a full length mirror in the room which I found strange & also our room was above their nightclub which we hadn’t been warned about. We were offered a different room the next day but I purchased earplugs which worked perfectly.
Hotel set in a beautiful setting, surrounded by trees & lovely gardens, with hidden pools & seating areas, only a stones throw from the beach. The staff couldn’t do enough & food fabulous with breakfast on the beach a real treat

BelgiumWhen we visited the hotel, there were a lot of construction works (lots of noise in the day, closed Nobu pool, ...). I understand that this is necessary, but it could be mentioned at least when booking. La Plaza generates loud music until 2.30AM, and they start working at 08AM...
This is an amazing hotel, friendly staff, nice rooms, fantastic environment and a great atmosphere.
