Fantastically welcoming staff and some great recommendations for dinner (big shout out to Esther!) . Good location, although a 20 min walk to get into the main center, its a simple route and you always have the ability to get the metro directly outside the hotel. Taxi's are plentiful but beware the hotel is on the junction of a main road, so sometimes difficult for them to stop., better to walk around the corner slightly. The desk staff even advised us to go a little later for breakfast the first night we stayed, as they had a large business contingent in the hotel who would be using it between 7am and 8am - a great suggestion which avoided disappointment of a noisy / busy breakfast! A real sense of "make yourself at home"- can't wait to return :)

We had a small misunderstanding regarding our stay later on again in the week on our return to the UK but it was resolved,

The only downsize was the price: for how the hotel is lovely, 217 Eur per night is a bit too expensive.

Very lovely hotel with excellent staff. The location could not be better, as tube station is one minute away, there are several bus stations a few minutes away and of course Atocha train station is very close. You are walking distance from the museums and the El Retiro Park. The area is residential which I consider a plus, as it wasn't as busy and noisy as the Centro. Very comfortable as the lobby is lovely and has a both a bar and a bakery, plus the restaurant on the top floor is good, we ate there twice. Our room was of good size and the bed was comfortable. We particularly loved the spacious shower. Staff was great, very kind and very responsive.

Gym was pretty underwhelming in terms of equipment and weight available, but this is true for most hotel gyms.

Room was nicely presented, modern and comfortable. Location was conveniently close to Atocha station and Retiro park. Breakfast was superb, options for all tastes and diets!

The cooked breakfast was cold when it was delivered to our room. Reception removed the charge though.

The Only You in Atocha is a nice size hotel with very friendly staff and very good, well equiped rooms. The breakfast may be somewhat expensive but it is quality and quantity is fantastic. The location is good even if the old centre is 30/45 minutes walk.

A beautiful & convenient location to museums. El Retiro, all the fun neighborshood of Barrio de las letras, Lavapies, Salamanca…and Atocha train station for our bullet train ride to Barcelona.

Just that the morning coffee in the buffet on the 7th floor is only Nespresso capsules rather than a bit more upscale option, but still breakfast is very good with a broad selection of food.

A very cosy and nicely located hotel - very close to Atocha metro station (Line 1). Nice breakfast options with ability to eat downstairs in a walk-in restaurant or a buffet breakfast on the 7th floor. Even though lots of construction work is being performed in the vicinity of the hotel, the noise insulation is very good. Very nice gym. The price to quality ratio in this hotel is 10/10.

Slightly further out of the main centre but very close to the art galleries and huge park. Metro right outside which was easy to use. Could walk into centre if you fancied a stroll.

Nice vibe with the exposed brickwork and cool prints on wall. Comfortable bed and nice big shower. I liked the nespresso machine in room and pump dispensers of the toiletries. Exceptionally pleasant and helpful staff. Water and sweets available in lobby.
