Amazing staff, clean room with all that is needed for a safe and confortable stay, tours of the city and of Toledo that make you discover Madrid and meet new fun people, spaces to chill and talk with other hostellers… My experience at Onefam Sungate Hostel was absolutely memorable. I have shared moments with other travellers that truly make me smile and feel grateful. Onefam stands for “One Family”, and there is a good reason for that! Thank you Onefam Sungate Hostel! I hope to visit again soon!

The staff were extremely friendly and sociable. I felt welcome as soon as I arrived to check in on my first day. They were also very generous with their time and efforts, serving dinner every day and offering both day and night activities for all the guests.

Great location, in the center, everything reachable by foot. Great staff, young, positive folks. A lot of social activities, great atmosphere, free breakfast and dinner, I met so many cool people. Everything was clean. Highly recommend!

OneFam Sungate is the place to stay if you are a solo traveler. The people from the staff are very kind, eager to help with anything. Every day they have different activities such as walking tours, dinners, clubing so it is a great way to meet other people, i totally recommend it :)

It was not a problem for me but guests should be aware that this is a social hostel, so it will be noisy at night (at least until everyone leaves for the bar/club/etc., around 23.30 when I stayed) My room was on the first floor so there was also sometimes some noise in the mornings when people started to come down for breakfast, to check out, etc.

The staff was extremely friendly and organized thoughtful events for everyone staying at the hostel, for example they provided dinner the first night of my stay which was delicious and a great opportunity to meet other guests. The coffee and churros in the morning were fantastic! The facilities were clean and excellent as described, the luggage storage was also very convenient. And the location was great, close to Plaza Mayor and several metro stations which made it very easy to get around the city center. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a social place to stay in Madrid!!

Onefam is a great place to stay if you are looking to have a comfortable stay in a great location. I joined the dinner and evening events which was a great addition that sets Onefam apart from other hostels. The staff was super nice and welcoming, and made you feel right at home. Full kitchen, laundry, and great recommendations. Highly recommend!

Their prices skyrocket on weekends, when I was there it was threefold the weekday rate.

The rooms on the top floor overlooking the internal yard are much quieter than the rooms on the street side. After 23.30 it was always very quiet, I'm a light sleeper and slept really well. There is an A/C with a remote in every room. Bring your own towel and padlock. Free dinners are every other day, however they are more like a snack. The location is ideal. Lots of activities.

The staff is amazing, Angel cares about your holiday more than yourself once you arrive he will welcome you and will start make a great presentation about Madrid and he will save your name and starting ask if you need anything else or if you need any recommendations, Teresa the same she helped me a lot to get the direction to the train station and send me a WhatsApp message to make sure that if i catch the train, really nice people i felt like I’m with my family, the location is great in the heart of the city center, clean and comfortable, colorful and full of life. They have loads of bakeries in the morning and tea and coffee all the day, they provide a tour guide for free every day, and tapas at the night ♥️ Lovely hostel 🙏🏻 I will visit Madrid again specially for them.
