Rather old-fahioned, decor, very 70s, dark airless corridors and dark wood doors/ furniture. Air con/ heater did not function, were offered extra blankets (no duvets here yet!) Roller shutter did not work, fly shutter ripped. Room small, musty smell.

Parking off road. Walking 15 mins to town. Bed comfortable enough, bathroom upgraded and modern, though still an overbath shower, not walk-in. Towels big and fluffy.Staff tried to be helpful.

The hotel is a bit outdated, but clean and convenient. Great parking! Absolutely worth its price.

There was construction going on and the drains were smelly

I think this hotel is beautiful and wonderful during summer season. All staff were so helpful and lovely. Outside the season breakfast buffet is canceled, although the camarero did his utmost to bring me all I wanted. Pool was closed. No other tourists staying but a company group.

There was no bath plug.

The room was pleasantly cool upon our arrival, a welcome relief during a heat wave. The bed was comfortable and the accommodation is conveniently within walking distance of the city center.

Large amount of young coloured men hanging around the entrance foyer and parking areas both day and night. We have stayed before and not seen this. It was unnerving . Also receptionist only staff on duty and busy on phone to check us in effectively. A shame as previously good experience.

There was a pungent smell of sewage on entering the hotel. We were told this was dry drains due to lack of rain. The restaurant was closed as it was Sunday.

Location was excellent for walking into town centre and good parking. Room was comfortable and hotel was very quiet over night despite being busy when we arrived. Staff friendly.

Thin walls, some noise (heating system?) coming from outside of the hotel.

Decent accommodation for staying for one day, clean, simple, staff friendly. Breakfast in the morning was continental, you can choose from three egg dishes, was enough. The problem was thin walls, so noise travels easily. We traveled in winter, so not many guest, my guess is that in summer time must be noisy.

breakfast was a disaster. The hotel are trying to advocate not wasting food and we had to leave most of ours. It was waitress served….cold & inedible. Milk for cereals had to be requested and was waitress poured at the servers bar. one coffee per person, payment for one more took ages.

Very little information available at check in, unsure of rules for using pool etc. We arrived 10 minutes late for breakfast on our 3rd morning and received mixed messages from different staff...no breakfast available... and sit here and you can have a coffee and croissant only. While we were sitting many guests were being served full breakfast. One of the staff placed a breakfast down at our table and this was quickly taken away by another staff member. It looked like Different service/rules for different guests...confusion and no sense of someone in charge.

Breakfast was poor! Green, mint, red tea but no normal English tea was available also no fresh bread or rolls. No eggs and limited cereals either. My following criticism applies to majority of continental hotels why oh why do you have to use those ridiculous toasters.Why not use a normal domestic toaster? We are all used to using them and they are fast and efficient, the one at this hotel took around 10 minutes to cook two slices of bread!

there whole place is a bit 1970's but clean and functional. breakfast had a very limited choice although the staff were first rate.

quite easy to reach from the motorway for an overnight stop. There were a lot of guests with dogs so i think this is a favourite for pet owners . Room was large and well equipped. Parking was in a well lit and cctv covered lot opposite the hotel. We are in the hotel restaurant and there was a limited set price menu which was ok.Staff everywhere were excellent

Cold, distracted, and not so friendly oriented restaurant people. Horrible menu in the restaurant, a very simple menu with few choices. We had half pension, an we use it only the first evening. I was surprised that the Hotel itself is named Hotel Restaurant, every other even little restaurant in Figueres is much better than the one in the Hotel. Anyway, we were there not to eat at this place. We enjoyed a lot of other eating places in Figueres.

Nice reception and cleaning staff people. Enough parking place, I consider it a very good thing.
