Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IndiaRooms were small but as all hotels in Paris have same problem so I was ok with it. Lighting in room was dim. As I was traveling for work, I have to do some work so I found light was insufficient. It was sunny days so after opening curtain, my problem got solved.
Staff was very polite and helpful. I would like to say special Thanks to Sasa who helped me a lot. Other staff members were also always ready to help. Minibar was free for 1 day which was added advantage. Orange flavored cookies were there in Minibar which I liked the most. At the time of checkout Sasa given me complementary cookies. They allowed me for late checkout. Location is very good. It is just opposite to trains station and metro is just outside the hotel.

United KingdomRoom very small and it’s certainly not cheap. I wouldn’t stay here longer than a night as there is definitely better value for money in terms of location & facilities elsewhere in Paris, but it couldn’t be more convenient for a late / early Eurostar.
Location couldn’t be better for Eurostar. We arrived at 11:30pm and were in the room 10 mins after disembarking the train. Very clean with good shower and comfy bed.

NetherlandsSwitching on and off of individual lights was almost impossible. It was a little "all or nothing" with no option to keep the light by the bed on by itself. Otherwise, can't fault the place on much.
Perfect location if you travel to Paris by train, plus with the added bonus of being near Montmartre and the subway. Hotel staff was very nice and the rooms were clean and cozy. Loved the decor of the place too.

United KingdomOn this occasion we had to call the cleaners to fix a few issues in the room. Previous towels left behind and ask for a sheet change as was not satisfied. But this happened immediately and was content. Also as early check in was permitted I should not complain too much. !
