It needs some care and organisation… looking a little run down and in kept. Lots of gazebos around which aren’t in keeping with the chateau.

Only restaurant open was Rotisserie which was a disappointment - food choices were awful and wait staff were less than cordial. Terrace Grill next to pool only served drinks. No other food options nearby.

Grounds and facilities were nice. Room was authentic but bathroom was tiny and inconvenient. Most of hotel staff was lovely and helpful. Breakfast by the pool was nice with typical choices - though expensive.

The Wi-Fi was broken for the entire 2 nights of our stay. Some maintenance needed doing (eg. the pool liner had come away on the steps into the pool).

Stunning location & a charming property. Helpful staff.

The room is small and “ok” decorated, it was a bit dirty, with a dead fly squished on the wall. It was too expensive for what it is.

We loved the restaurant and the territory. Staff in the restaurant were very welcoming and accommodating, the food was superb.

Take into consideration to search what restaurant is open and to book in advance places at the location if you want to have something to eat.

The bed was amazing. The silence of the surroundings and the whole atmosphere in general.

Expensive wine at the restaurant. Basic wine glass - Rhonea Fontimple Vacqueyras - for 8 Euros, far too much. Rest OK.

Very nice castle. Period a bit cold, but in the summer should be fantastic. Room comfortable and well equipped.

The staff at breakfast was super stressed and late. We only got toast with cheese and salmon for eating initially. It took 30 minutes until something else arrived. Not great vale for 19 Euros.

The room was gorgeous with a nice view of the surroundings. Historic and charming building!

We had a dinner there, it was overpriced and not great. We arrived late in the evening and were looking forward to some great dinner and drink. We got the beef menu as this was the only option, it wasn't great and full price for the kids and poor quality. Also note that you cannot bring your car inside even to unload your luggage.

    The staff was great.

On arrival date there was a wedding, so no pool access, bar wasn't open, parking full. No elevator with long walk and many stairs, no help with the luggage, so a lot of work to move everything with 2 children (1 baby).

Nice room, great pool and great (but pricy) restaurant in a beautifull setting.

Quite a walk to the rooms with luggage. As you would expect as a chateau there are no lifts but staircases and corridors

Great location, great outdoor facilities, a lake with swans and ducks, a garden to walk in. Very picturesque. Room was nice, medium size. Room facilities was what you would expect of any hotel of any standard. Staff were very attentive and friendly

We stayed for one night in early March and the hotel reception, bar and main restaurant were not open. There was no space at the smaller “rotisserie” restaurant for dinner so we had to drive into the village to eat. The only opportunity for a drink was standing up at the bar in the Rotisserie.

This bastide has a hotel plus self catering villas, wedding and conference venue and a spa. The property and the grounds were attractive and we liked the “whispering angels” statues illuminated at night. Our room - one of the larger ones - had a very comfortable bed and nice bathroom with a good shower. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

Breakfast could have been better for €21 pp. They ran out of eggs and sausages at 9:15 and weren’t going to refill them, until we prompted multiple times and finally got more put out

Beautiful room with a view - we were upgraded! Restaurant on-site is Michelin star and great value for money. Really nice pool. Surroundings are picturesque

The food is terrible. We booked the rotisserie restaurant which is the cheaper of the two restaurants. We were phoned a few days before to say they were doing a special truffle set menu that night. That sounds good to us. It was tuna carpaccio, which sounds great but bland, no seasoning, rocket on top with no dressing. Very dull and bland. The second course was chicken or Guinea fowl, with mash potato and truffle. Sounds amazing. Unfortunately we were presented with runny mash potatoes and what could only be described as a bird carcass. There was no meat on it. My wife was presented with a half chicken but only bones. When we asked for a new plate they brought the same plate back to us and told us they would bring some meat on the side. So we sat looking at this dead chicken body waiting for food. All this for 181 euros. Worst food I’ve had in France. Breakfast also looked dreadful. We booked breakfast, had one look and left. Powered eggs, weird sausages and a croissant, I think it was 25 euros a person. We just left.

The building is beautiful. Nice pool area. Rooms are ok although bathrooms very dated. The staff are fantastic.

The property needs a lot of work, it’s very run down. The pool although lovely setting needs the floor redone it’s coming away. Also no food service between breakfast and dinner which make it difficult for overseas travellers and children.

This is a property that is spectacular to look at and very picturesque

The property was a HUGE disappointment. The serene setting that is advertised was not what we experienced. As far as the room itself - The room decor was bizarre and dated. I’ve seen college boys make better choices at a thrift shop. There was an open hole in our ceiling, bathroom fixtures are dated. The bed was comfortable but we both ended up with suspicious bites. The grounds could have been so lovely and elegant except that there was a conference going on and their appliances were scattered all over the lawn, cardboard boxes were stored at the entry area to the hotel making it all cluttered. The pool furniture is plastic! The tables are faded and worn. The equipment and tools used to maintain the grounds and set up for large groups were all visible. The pond was filthy. During what could have been a relaxing outdoor breakfast, there were constant deliveries to the gourmet restaurant…. The trolleys were very noisy and it ruined the whole ambiance. This hotel needs to decide if they want to be a chateau hotel or if they are simply an event center. There is huge misalignment in the environment advertised and the one experienced if you are a hotel guest. We would not stay here again, regretted the decision for sure beyond the great food. The spa is TINY and didn’t include all of the advertised amenities… the jacuzzi specifically which was one of the reasons we chose this location Very disappointed

The restaurants were amazing. Elegant food and wine choices. The staff were super helpful at the front desk, gracious at the spa and well informed and service oriented at the restaurants.
