Great location, 15 minute walk to castle along the pedestrian boulevard. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, nice breakfast with fresh squeezed orange juice. Right across street from pickup spot for wine tour.

Would like BW to place towel warmer rack in the bathroom. It’s the only thing missing.

The location was away from the center of tourist but very close and it was peaceful. The room was good sized and the bathroom was had a walk in shower which was great and safe. The room temperature could be controlled and that is important in France. Breakfast was great. Room was clean.

We had booked and paid for a King room but they put us in a queen. We didn’t notice until bedtime so there was no chance to correct the error.

The room we were in face the road so we could hear the occasional talking, movements of rubbish truck during the night. Not overly loud but it would still wake a light sleeper up

It looks small and all but it is very comfortable. There is a lift within the building which is a huge plus! Good location as well as it’s super near to the Main Street of activities. Love the bar as they allow BYOB with corkage of 7 euro. Laundry services is good and cheap too which is helpful to wash the few items.

The location is perfect for a visit to Avignon. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Our luggage was lost and they went out of their way to help us retrieve the luggage. Will stay here again in the future for sure!

I wish the staff had told us to not try accessing by car when we called ahead. There are strict restrictions in the city center and it is better to just park and carry bags instead of negotiating passage by car. Also, a couple of hours before arriving, we attempted to contact the hotel by phone for over 30 minutes! We tried 3 different times and got the recorded greeting each time. Even after waiting over 10 minutes each time, no one picked up. We ran into problems in the city and walked to the hotel to ask for help from the employee who did not pick up the phone! And he was as unhelpful as one can get! When confronted, he was not apologetic and offered no explanation - in fact the phone ring had been muted.

The hotel is in a very nice looking building on the Main Street of Avignon, about 500 m. from the palace. The room was tastefully appointed and comfortable. The view from the room was quite spectacular.

The elevators were small and somewhat slow, so my sister and I often took the stairs. It did give us an opportunity to see the beautiful decor, though. There were no laundry facilities, though you can have your clothing sent off for cleaning (a little more than I wanted to pay, however).

The location was incredible, within easy walking distance of all the sights. The hotel was much nicer than I expected for the price--we visited during shoulder season so I imagine we paid less than others might during the summer. The room was clean, spacious and well decorated. There were many wonderful restaurants nearby, so we never tried the one in the hotel.

We took breakfast on one occasion, but we did feel that Eighteen Euros was rather expensive for a buffet do-it-yourself style breakfast with no staff serving.

The Reception staff gave us a warm welcome and they were very friendly and helpful at all times. We very much appreciated that we were allocated a room overlooking a private courtyard which was away from the main street and was very quiet.

The staff were amazing and very friendly. I had a 5am wake up to be able to catch the train back to Paris and when I checked out, was provided with a couple pastries and juice as breakfast to go. Incredible service and hospitality. The location is also very central and convenient.

Recommend getting a room that’s not facing the street, it can be noisy at night.

Terrific location and well priced. In short walking distance to the train station, the Pope’s Palace and restaurants. Stayed here for 5 nights, had our best sleep here during our two week vacation in southern France.
