Location excellent. Olde worldie building run by Didier who was great fun and spoke good English. Service to deliver customers to the Condor ferry Terminal at 0630 was greatly appreciated.

The owner, Didier, is a great guy. Very friendly and polite and clearly cares a lot for his hotel. The room is simple and comfortable and well located in Saint Malo. The building needs a bit of work and is a little cramped, but what more is there to ask for?

Electronic room door lock was awaiting repair. Security is basically the host living downstairs and hearing people come and go. This goes for room as well as bike security. And the carpets are very worn.

A good place for an overnight stay before getting the ferry. Near the station, but half an hour's walk or so from the ferry port. Friendly host. Space for the bike in the yard, though nothing to lock it to and no lock on the yard gate. Remarkably quiet at night despite the location.

The decor is very tired. Carpets need replacing and wallpaper renewing.

The location was perfect for going to the ferry port in the morning. The bed was comfortable and linen spotless. Bathroom clean.

Convenient location - next to the train station and about a 25 minute walk to the ferry terminal. Very nice staff. The room was comfortable and I felt it was good value for money. A real old-fashioned B&B!

The shower wasn't as hot as my friend would have liked it, but it was by no means unpleasant. There wasn't anything else not to like about the property.

The room had a lovely view and was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. The location was also close to the train station and numerous restaurants. That doesn't mean it is far from the city center though, we walked there in around 15 minutes.

What it isn’t is a sparkly impersonal hotel, but very French and quirky. May not appeal to those who want luxury. The carpets are a bit worn in the hall and on the stairs but it is great value.

Clean, quirky, a very friendly patron - ideal for us as it was close the train station and there was secure storage for our bikes. We’ll use it again on our next cycling trip.

It is an hotel ideally situated for passengers to the Channel Islands stranded by bad weather; and perfectly well-equipped for a pleasant night's stay. The hoteliier is jovial and helpful.

Almost liked everything

The host Monsieur Didier is a very welcoming man. We had common talks and interest. A bit of historical flash backs on global issues. Things to laugh about. Good traditional breakfast and good guide on what and where to visit during the short hours of stay. Above all his splendid advice about how to drive through France as national strike hits headlines. Best tip he said. "Be careful not to find yourself without petrol as most service station can close down". Attention!. So all along I am on the look out!. So far not fallen a victim!

Nothing not to like.

A true authentic little hotel close to Intra Muros, in factwalking distance. The host was so accommodating. The room had everything needed to make the visit yo Saint Malo a perfect one for me. Thank you to the host for being so very kind.

The room was clean and also quite big considering I was traveling alone; but I have to say that the rest of the hotel was a bit neglected, a bit old maybe. Also the “breakfast room” was not really welcoming.

Location is great: 5 minutes from Saint Malo train station and 15 minutes from the “old city”. The owner is really nice and friendly and he let me anticipate my check in without any problems!
