We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

FranceOur room was next to a metal circular staircase that was very noisy. We were woken early in the morning by guests leaving and going up and down the stairs bumping heavy cases down each step. The hotel is not within walking distance of the town and parking in town could be difficult at times
Pretty riverside site away from any noise with chickens and geese roaming the grounds. The restaurant food and wine was good and the staff were attentive.

United StatesQuiet, comfortable, air conditioned room overlooking a lake. Just a few moments drive to the center of Foix. The restaurant was wonderful, one of the best meals I’ve had in France! And that wine list? Truly amazing. The service was top notch, receptionist/server was so friendly. We would definitely stay again.

BelgiumCustomer service handling my double payment could have been better. I am not accustomed to a hotel receptionist hanging up in my face because he feels his English is insufficient to speak with me, especially when I was trying to explain that I can speak French. Poor customer relations.
The location is lovely on the banks of a lake. Our room had a small porch that looked out on the grounds. It was October and the weather wasn't great but it was evident under different weather conditions the hotel is very special. The restaurant was closed so we had a picnic in our room. The hotel provided dishes and cutlery. Bed very comfortable - shower hot. Good night's sleep. Ducks came to us for their breakfast in the morning as we walked the grounds. My only complaint was the cock up with the payment/deposits requiring me to contact the hotel to be reimbursed for a double charge. They resolved it but while traveling in a foreign country not ideal, especially when the office closed for most of the afternoon. I would still recommend this hotel, especially when one can benefit from the lovely location in better weather.

SpainGrounds are a little neglected.A couple of days tidying up the gardens and outside of chalets would make all the difference.Lights on the terrace etc. little touches would elevate it. The bed linen though clean was clearly old and stained.It also had a hole in it.When we asked for it to be changed the domestic staff refused in a very rude way.Would be good to have a notice up if the restaurant is going to be closed.
Room was good.Setting beside the lake was beautiful.Parking was good and access to Foix by bus, fast and cheap.Drive to train station very easy and trains well priced to Toulouse,Tarascon and Ax les Thermes.Lovely lakeside bar,cafe open all afternoons and evenings five minutes walk away,with various sports available.

AustraliaThis Hotel did not live up to it's advertising so it was extremely disappointing, false and quite unacceptable! The promotions and the profile for booking a stay is very deceiving. * Restaurant and Deck Bar not open on a Saturday evening yet we were not told that either on initial booking nor at check in, only when we went to arrange dinner ...very, very poor especially as Restaurant is highly promoted for dining. The Hotel is not in close proximity to the town centre nor other food availablity. * the grounds and garden are untidy, unkempt and unsightly ... high, grassed areas not mown, pathways overgrown, weeds prolific, untidy dirty surrounds, an overgrown offensive pond. We felt as though we'd been relegated to the cheap and nasty rooms of a third rate Motel! * room was ordinary, linen clean and bed comfortable but not towels (one used towel amongst clean!), floor really marked and dirty, shower screen very grimey/ smeary (obviously wiped with soiled cloth or bath mat), no bathing accessories. This was so very, very disappointing and expensive. Management needs to take action. It was as though summer preparation for guests had been forgotten, or not commenced, but guests still to be charged high rates... that's false and deceitful! Cannot recommend this establishment. Very poor.
