The room was a bit smaller than I anticipated. Also, my bathroom had a bit of a sewage smell.

No tea/coffee facilities or safe in the room. Air conditioning would be an improvement but there is a fan in the ceiling light. Also a toaster in the breakfast room would be useful.

I wish there was a small fridge in the room but that is my only complaint, everything else was wonderful.

We loved our room - the view was great of the square which was great for afternoons to to take a bit of a rest and look over the square. The bathrooms were a nice size and modern. The breakfast was wonderful with a great assortment of pastries, cheeses, drinks, and other options.

Although the rooms are a bit small in size it all fits into the expectations you'd have from a boutique hotel. Very friendly staff, all spoke better English than we did French and to be honest that goes for most of the establishments in Lille. Wonderful location, right in the centre of old Lille with a large parking garage nearby. (200 m walk) Never knew Lille was such a pretty city, what a pleasure to walk around.

Personal preference, but we both found the bed quite hard. The noise outside was also really bad in the evening with sirens, people outside, and during the day there was construction which was really noisy and constant

The only down point would be, although the staff are lovely most of the time they were standing at the main dooflr for the Hotel smoking, they would quickly stop and come in with you if you needed something. I know this is more of a different attitude towards smoking, but it is very unpleasant to walk through a cloud of smoke from the staff to get into your hotel.

The room was great value, as we managed to get it last minute during a stay for a RWC match. The hotel is very well situated in the centre of Lille, convenient for everything we need. No parking, but we were advised by the Hotel of a parking very close that we were able to book in advance, which was ver convenient. The staff at the Hotel were very friendly and helpful!

If they had my booking, which they said they didn't when I turned up. Put in a disabled room where the wet room was badly designed, water would not drain away and thus trailed into carpeted room. Room was permanently cold, turning the heating up on the one small radiator made no difference. Inatentive breakfasy staff, always on their phone and not replenishoing the buffett.

There was no air conditioning which meant we had to sleep with the windows open which meant we slept badly because it was so hot.

The rooms are quite small, as it can be seen in the pictures (it did not come as a surprise and it is normal for a hotel in a historical centre). The equipment of the room was disapointing -it was the bare minimum. Our bathroom was starting to show clear signs of wear and tear.

The hothel is very cosy and the location is excellent (just next to an underground parking and meters away from shops and cafés). Staff was very friendly. The breakfast was not exceptionnal but a good value for the price.
