Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an amazing experience. The location is perfect, with many attractions and restaurants nearby. The front desk staff was welcoming , especially Christophe, he helped so much and thank you for making Toulouse like home! Their service throughout my stay was exceptional. Every staff member was professional and attentive, addressing all my needs promptly. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. recommend it!

United KingdomThe double bed is two single peds pushed together. Having said that, the bed is comfortable.
Great breakfast, both in terms of choice and quality. Modern decor and comfortable room. Location is good too as all attractions and train station are within walkable distance. Helpful and friendly reception staff. A really enjoyable stay!

United StatesEverything went well - thank you!
The first room we were given didn't have any view so we requested a change, which they were able to do. We really appreciated the willingness to accommodate our request. We stayed for three nights and found the location ideal, especially since we had a train to catch the last morning. It was an easy walk to the train station.

AustraliaThe room was a bit small for a double. There was no place to open our suitcases. The bathroom had a shower over a full size bath tub with no handrail to guard against slips and falls when getting out.
The room was very quiet. There was a small table and chairs, and a station for making tea and coffee. The bed was comfortable. Parking was available at the nearby Jean Jaures parking station for a capped fee of 15 Euros per day. We enjoyed drinks and complimentary nibbles at the hotel bar. Staff were very helpful. The location could not be more centrally located.

United KingdomWe didn’t opt to have breakfast in the hotel and I was very relieved when I saw the breakfast area, rather dark and depressing.
The hotel is in a perfect location to enjoy the city. The bus from the airport stops just opposite the hotel and you’re only a ten minute walk from the main train station. Our hotel room was fairly small but adequate for our needs….good nights sleep and a shower. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel, it’s a perfect base from which to explore Toulouse and Carcassonne.

CanadaThe mini bar fridge was a ridiculous design that would not even allow the supplied bottle of water to stand upright. Very poor design. A strange design error when all else in the hotel room is so well designed for efficiency and esthetics.

Germany- My room seemed smaller than the 19 m² stated on booking.com - The room faced a "courtyard", which was more of a light inlet than an actual courtyard. This backyard was covered with a semi-transparent roof, so the window offered no view to the sky and no proper fresh air. - The entrance/check-in situation is weird, there's no reception, the bar serves as a makeshift reception.
- The room was modern and clean - Breakfast was really great (particularly for France), even with eggs of choice being freshly prepared. Also, a wide range of local specialties is offered. - WiFi was easy to use and fast. - The hotel is really perfectly located between the old town and the train station. Most sights can easily reached on foot, if not, both metro lines and many buses are two minutes away from the hotel. The area of the hotel was nice and also felt safe at night.

The rooms in the hotel were beautiful and super clean. A pretty boutique hotel well located in Toulouse. Walking distance to all shops and attractions. We stayed in rooms with a street view. We loved it. The room was a good size. The bathroom was very pretty and a good size too. Would definately stay again if in town.

IrelandOne serious issue I experienced was that my reservation on booking.com didn’t mention anything about a deposit on check in at the hotel. I came prepared for the possibility of this so I had the 376 for my 3 night stay and an extra 100 for any potential deposit in my account. Upon arrival the hotel requested an amount of €620 to be put on authorisation hold for our stay. This was absolutely ridiculous. I didn’t even have that amount on my card so my partner had to use theirs. I then had a conversation with a different receptionist the next morning who undid the initial deposit for me & took a new one amounting to €50. However it took over a week for the initial deposit hold of €620 to be unfrozen in my partners account. In future I feel it is very important that people are made aware of these things, especially when the deposit amounts to nearly double the cost of a stay.
I liked the unique style of the Hotel & its central location made for an extremely convenient 3 days being so close to everything.
