The decor was a bit depressing if I’m honest and it just didn’t feel five star. The room service food was really good - especially the bouef Bourguignon- but including a bottle of wine and two mozzarella salads it came to 130 euros which I thought was very steep for what it was.

Clean, and the receptionist kindly upgraded us to a bigger room. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Breakfast good.

The staff were so welcoming and friendly. Our room was warm and comfortable. With fridge, coffee machine and a slight view of the Garonne.

No air con and the room was super warm which was very unpleasant - apparently the city rules say they can't turn it on at this time of year. and the room was damp smelling because of a big damp / humidity issue in the bathroom which we pointed out.

Great bar staff - brilliant cocktails. Good breakfast.

Our room was on a very noisy side road with traffic all night. Staff were helpful but the bar had no atmosphere and unfortunately the restaurant was closed both night we were there

Parking is not onsite and expensive. The TV didn’t work even after technician attended to it so it was a bummer.

The hotel grounds had lots of small ants in the portico, this was the case in our room too. There were bleach stains on the hall carpeting outside our room, as well as, in our room but besides that it was very tidy and clean. I could hear a lot of late night noise coming from outside, leaving me with the feeling you wouldn't want to be walking around too late at night. I saw no security at the hotel.

Well unfortunately I didn't get to spend much time outside my room as I fell sick from shellfish poisoning but the place is really charming. The hotel is squeezed in between buildings down a narrow street but when entering thru the entrance it opens up to a nice portico; its a good area to sit and have drinks. The hotel staff was great! They went beyond making sure I was okay and even called a Dr. for me; they helped my husband get around town as well. I can't say enough about their hospitality! Our room was very spacious, much more than we expected and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel's location is near the river, shops and restaurants, as well as, to the underground metro which we did eventually get to use.
