The only downside for those without a car is that the hotel is on a a hill some 30 minutes from the front by foot, 15/20 mins to the old town and the restaurants and too far to drag bags from Nice Ville railway station. Also looks like parking is limited.

An elegant and traditional hotel with superb decor and excellent staff. Lovely little garden and pool and fabulous area for breakfast. Nice rooms with L’Occitane toiletries and enormous 4K tv. Only 25 Rooms so felt private and personal. Great choice at breakfast, including bacon (unusual in a lot of Europe)

There was nothing not to like!!

The entire premises were in pristine condition. Every inch of the exterior was landscaped beautifully. The artificial turf is great! It keeps things much cleaner and fresh all year round. It shows off all the natural trees and plants.

Nothing The hotel was superb and the staff was very accommodating. It was a pleasure talking with the well informed manager. Taxis will pick up at the property but not uber.

We arrived mid morning and we were invited to go to the breakfast room while they readied the room. The food was delicious and the tea and coffee selections superb. When we returned to the desk, the manager said he upgraded us to a room on the upper floor and it had a view of the sea and a small balcony. The bed had soft sheets and a light weight comforter. Very comfortable. Nice toiletries - L'Occitane! Beautiful garden with private areas to enjoy the sun or shade. We had drinks and a delicious meal in the garden. Very reasonable prices.

The buffet breakfast is nothing special, so we opted out the second day.

The hotel sits above the city, so you have peace and quiet and a great view! It is a quality place, and our upgraded room was terrific. Daniel, the main concierge, is wonderful and goes above and beyond.

Lovely hotel, beautiful room with an amazing view to the sea in a quiet location. The room was smelling really nice and was very clean. The breakfast place was lovely aswell. I would like to thank Mr.Philip who was really friendly and helpful. He gave nice tips about places to see/eat in Nice (you should trust his suggestions). I will absolutely come back again to this wonderful hotel!

It was the amazingly hospitable, friendly and just overall happy staff that made our stay really special! But accompany that with a beautiful room, gorgeous views over Nice, delicious breakfast every morning, the most comfortable beds (you’ll sleep like a baby) and daily room cleans, it doesn’t get much better than this. Should be 5 star hotel!

Storage space for clothing was very limited. There was not enough hanging space for two people or shelf space as an alternative.

Our room was spacious and comfortable. There was a wonderful view across the city to the sea. Breakfast was superb with lots of choice and fresh regional produce. The staff were wonderful and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect.

Perhaps consider offering optional shuttle into town?

We truly enjoyed our stay at this hidden gem of a hotel! We loved the quiet and calmness of being out of the major tourist area. We would awake each morning to the birds and the amazing smell of orange blossoms. It is a lovely boutique hotel with an old world European ambiance. However, the hotel is up on the hillside, and it is about a 20 minute walk down to the old town. The walk up is about 20-30 min depending on the route you choose. In the beginning, I wasn't too happy with the walk. But, I quickly came around and enjoyed the "stroll" down into town. We definitely got our steps in! The rooms are comfortable, charming and thoughtfully designed, but a bit on the small side. We had a ground floor garden room with our own private outdoor area. Although we didn't have a view, we appreciated the private outdoor space. Also, if we wanted to enjoy the hotel grounds, we could just walk right out of back sliding glass doors. The breakfast was wonderful with a lot of choices. Very friendly, courteous and professional staff. Bar is open until 11:00 and they do have a limited menu for room service. Would we stay here again? Absolutely!

There’s nothing I did not like about this property

this hotel is anabsolute toolbox. It is beautifully maintained and we were lucky enough to have room 202 with an amazing terrace. The staff is exceptional, and it is nestled among birds. You hear, birds singing all the time with the windows open.

Our room was right off the lobby. Noisy. Booking.com rooms seem to all be ADA rooms. I had requested parking, but it had been given away. The parking was street parking many blocks away.

The hotel is located on the hillside in Nice. Beautiful views. Daniel was amazing, he was like a personal ambassador for the city of Nice. So welcoming.

    Absolutely nothing at all!

Every member of staff was friendly and polite. The front desk staff always had recommendations and were happy to chat out our plans and what we were doing. The night staff member also delightful, when we came back super late after the rugby in Marseilles! We enjoyed the walk up the hill away from town, but some people might not be of the same opinion?? For us, it made it a very quiet, relaxing hotel.

It was not a significant issue for us, but the hotel is in an elevated position and maybe not suited for anyone with mobility problems.

Beautiful hotel in a really lovely quiet and peaceful area of Nice. The hotel staff were all helpful, smart, and really friendly. The rooms were well appointed with good facilities. Handily located for Nice centre and the train station.
