There was a closed door between my room and a neighboring room, as if the two rooms could be laid together. This meant that the noise insulation, which wasn't very good anyway, was even reduced. And after showering, there was some water on the bathroom floor. Obviously the shower cubicle was not properly sealed. The dark furniture and the lighting created a somewhat dim impression at night. No problem during the day.

The somewhat outdated mid-range hotel was less than a three-minute walk from the train station. The old port and thus also the city center of La Rochelle was surprisingly close, less than ten minutes' walk away. The hotel is somewhat hidden in concrete architecture. My navigation software thought that the hotel was permanently closed. This was wrong. I pointed this problem out at reception.

Minor thing - no red wine in the bar. Bedside light came on when hit by pillow due to light switches being on thd headboard!

Very nice balcony with a view of the station clock tower. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Great location near bars, restaurants, aquarium and train station. Parking available on site (payable and recommend booking in advance). Small bar in hotel - good for 2 star.

Although the pictures are accurate, the place is a bit tired. Could do with new mattresses, a coat of paint. But the friendly staff made up for it!

We were there for one night - being close to the station was perfect. Also easy location to walk to the harbour and see the old pasts of the city.

Friendly staff, excellent location, between train station and the old harbour. Hotel is a little dated but spotlesslyclean and well maintained. Street parking available in front of the hotel, about 10 Euros a day. Will happily stay again.

We accidentally book 2 rooms and couldnt cancel one of them without paying the full fare.

The Hotel is located close to the Trainstation and the Harbor. It has a Bikestorageroom. We arrived early and could store our Bikes and Lagguage in the Bikeroom

The building and the room is a bit old and worn out. There was no AC, so it could be hot. The bathroom is also old style.

Good location for us, very near the rail station and only a few minutes walk to the old town and the very lively old port. Friendly and helpful staff. Decor was ocean-themed. Good buffet breakfast. Ours was a duplex room with a steep connecting staircase.

Great location close to the main town and train station. Parking was available at the train station if needed. I arrived Sunday and was able to park outside the hotel free of charge. Staff were very helpful and were available 24/7. very secure and quite hotel.
