Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

LebanonMetro station compans is 7 min away by foot, you have to take a small detour at night when the garden is closed, but i didn't find it to be such a big deal. Pool can get a bit crowded and noisy when there r kids.
Very spacious room, comfortable large bed, both a tub and shower in the room. The room layout is optimal, with 2 couches. Breakfast was great, with a wide variety of choices. The restaurant, lobby and bar area are extremely cosy and luminous, as well as the exterior space next to the pool. The latter is a bit small, but enough to enjoy the good weather when it's not crowded. Close to the center, either by walking or metro.

United KingdomThe restaurant was not good for gluten free. My daughter is a celiac and she could only have a plate of chips. This is not unusual for France to be fair, they are back in the dark ages when it comes to allergies. But it would have been good to be able to offer her something.
The staff were great, and the facilities for kids were great. There was a pool table and a playstation which my kids were delighted with. We slept in a room with 4 of us which was fine, v tight but it was just for one night and we were comfortable enough.

United KingdomThe “fitness centre” only had a cross trainer, a static bike and a bench with a set of 6 weights. Completely misleading to advertise the hotel with “fitness centre”, this was an important feature that made me chose this hotel in this ocasión.
Calm location. Quiet room. Nice breakfast.

SingaporeThe room was a nice size but the configuration was odd with the bathroom being very small and leaky. The room was also very warm without the ability to really cool the room with air con.
Ability to make the room very dark for our sleeping child.

PolandParking fee 15e, reception desk personnel not always around or not enough personnel for the amount of hotel guests - as the hotel was almost full at my time there. One of the elevator going into parking space was broken for a few days (3 or 4 days). Credit card needed, even i booked via booking with my credit card, the hotel wanted to secure my stay with the amount of money bigger then the final price (approx. 130% of a price). After some discussion, they lowered it up to 70% of my total price. The lady at the reception for the check-in was nice and helpful, but i did not like the initial idea of blocking more money then the final price. When checking-out, the staff was not so helpful and it looked like it was a problem to print an invoice without mistakes. That should not have happen in 4 star hotel.
Very good breakfast, variety of bread, baguettes, cheese, ham, eggs as well as sweet croissants etc. Room was of a good size, comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Location, excellent - very nice Japanese garden just behind the hotel, metro station within walking distance. Good wifi.

United KingdomNo balcony for our room so it felt a bit oppressive with relatively small windows. More space/sun beds around pool. Didn't serve food all day. One of our pieces of luggage was removed from the luggage storage room for some reason which caused us some anxiety until it was located. A bit of a walk into the centre (about 20 minutes).
Great reception/communal facilities. Very comfortable (although small) bar area with pool table and exercise bikes. Good play area for children. Nice pool although not much space around for sun beds and very busy at times. Friendly helpful staff. Good size room with nice shower/toilet. A few nice restaurants nearby.

United StatesNot exactly downtown if you are going to walk around. Specially if you return after 6pm and can not go through the park. If the park behind the hotel is closed you have to walk some endless blocks around it.
The rooms were of good size as was the bathroom. Good parking space (which was one of the main reasons to select it).
