I know, nothing is perfect, but this stay came so close that I can't think of a nit to pick...

If you're planning to stay in the center of this little gem of a city, look no further. I can't imagine a better location. The pedestrian zone starts literally around the corner, and in the opposite direction, the castle and the cathedral are a block away, and a few minutes on you'll be in their lovely botanical garden. We drove in - a straight shot coming from the north, no turns, right to the hotel's doorstep. They have their own underground parking (for a few cars, so book early), but then you can forget about the car. The room is modern with a genius design that optimizes space and light. There is a lounge area where you can get complimentary coffee and hang out, if you want. A novel concept for hotels, and one I probably would be using during a multi-day stay. Thumbs up, Okko Hotels!

It's not a big issue but I did find the design of the bathroom to be a bit strange. It has glass walls that are covered by blinds that are only partially closed. So from a certain angle you can see directly into the bathroom from the rest of the room. I find it to be an odd design choice but maybe that is the design trend these days.

We only stayed one night but found the hotel to be clean, comfortable, and very conveniently located. Staff were helpful and always available. We didn't try the breakfast so cannot comment about that. There are many coffee shops and bakeries nearby so we didn't feel the need to take the breakfast at the hotel. We parked in the garage nearby -- beware that the spaces are very small in the garage and will be a tight fit for even a medium sized car. I am not sure if the parking offered by the hotel is better.

Location. Lovely welcome from all staff. The club was so relaxing. Comfortable room. Breakfast choices were great and all local products. Nice to have a coffee which was available in club throughout my stay.

Our room was a bit small

The location is perfect for tourists - within a short walk of the castles and all other attractions. Excellent breakfasts with delicious croissants, but also scrambled eggs and bacon for those who like an English style cooked breakfast. Good coffee. We also made use of the 'Club' for drinks and snacks during the day and in the evening.

Now the not so good bits. The design is very modern but wrong on many levels. - to get to the toilet you need to go through the shower so make sure you're not wearing socks -the bathroom screen is made out of wooden slats tilted downward. The problem is when you're on the toilet you can see the person un bed, and vice versa. So you better be comfortable with doing your business in front of the other person.

I have mixed feelings about it. The hotel looks new and has a very modern design, which is good and bad. The room was very clean and comfortable, and despite facing the main road, it was quiet.

Price. I'm sorry, but this is NOT a four star hotel. And the design of room, particularly the bathroom... Wildly impractical, really, almost stupid. Perverse. It's actually a good reason to never come back. Too bad, other things about the property were nice.

The style is a bit anonymous.

The rooms are clean and with a minimalistic style. The hotel is quite central and in a lively area, very close to the Chateau ducs de Bretagne.

Very clean hotel and very convenient, the lounge facilities were excellent we had a lovely hour of relaxing 5-6pm before catching our taxi back to the airport. The receptionist Florian was excellent he gave us some great tips for some sight seeing in Nantes.
