It was hard to find, and the front door is on a street too narrow for a car. It looks a bit scary from the outside for a visitor from the USA.

Once we got inside, everything was awesome.

They didn’t tell us we were allowed to turn down the wrong way on a short one way street until the last day. Also, they have some minor plumbing issues to work on.

It is a little bit tricky, understandably, to access via car. Just make sure to call ahead of time to get better directions if arriving via car and using their garage.

The air conditioning didn't seem quite up to the job - the rooms are large, so perhaps it's not quite man enough for the size? It's a small point, given that we stayed in early Sept - but perhaps in the height of summer it would be more of an issue.

Wow! What a fantastic hotel in such a great location. From the outside there's no clue of the wonderful things behind the simple townhouse door. Once inside though, there's a magical courtyard with swimming pool and a garden that's a tranquil haven inside a busy city. The rooms were amazing, the staff couldn't have been more helpful, and the breakfasts are fantastic. We will definitely be back!

No coffee making facility in the room, was dissapointing and having to ask for a coffee in the room which turned out to be very expensive. Breakfast choice is limited, lack of hot fresh food options.

The serenity of the place, the gardens and pool area are perfect for relaxing. The bedroom was very spacious, the room decor & design is simple, classic & chic. The staff were pleasant and accomodating. Perfect location.

Wifi is bad in second floor's room, bet is not flat(uploaded picture), bed is not comfortable, I couldn't have good sleep for the whole night. If the price is cheap, i can endure, but price is very expensive compared to the small town, I have to rate negatively.

The heating was not working and we waited 5 hours for it to be fixed. It was not and there was no other room. The bedroom was stark with no luxury. Drinks came without knibbles or biscuit. We messaged 10 times awaiting our promised refund and have been ignored.

Nothing! We are still waiting for our refund. This hotel was so bad we decided to leave.

For this price, a complementary bottle of water in the room is the minimum one expects. And although we arrived late, and the night concierge was amenable, there were no food services available whatsoever; no instructions or pointers left in the room, much less any staff to greet at breakfast nor check that we needed anything at table. Though the hotel was overbooked, and excuses can be made for lack of personnel during the pandemic, the hotel was stark and generally unwelcoming - at least as far as 5 stars go.
