Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesThe shower enclosure should have contained a plexiglass or similar glass-like closable door rather than an ill-fitted and cheap looking shower curtain - embarrassing, really. I would also have preferred that the bar be tended from time to time, rather than having to request a drink from staff, who thereupon sent someone to provide the service. Finally, I would prefer a conventional front door with public access, rather than the necessity of using a key card upon every entry, regardless of the hour.
I liked the beauty and elegance of the physical surroundings, the quality of the breakfasts, the staff's helpfulness, and the neighborhood, as a change of pace from my usual locations.

MexicoEverything was absolutely focused on quality service and utmost attention to detail throughout our stay. We celebrated our wedding anniversary here but we only had planned a few days in Paris so the location was perfect, allowing us to see many sites with great accessibility to transportation. The staff was very helpful answering our questions and providing recommendations. Perhaps the only thing to consider is that the view from the room is a view of the nice Parisian city street , but there are no particular landmarks or monuments visible if that is something you are interested in for your trip. Overall well worth the stay and I would definitely return.

This is one of the best hotel I have stayed in! The rooms are beautifully decorated! The staff are exceptional, the facilities ( spa, gym) are great and private! They go the extra mile for their guests. Such beautiful hotel and neighborhood. I could go on and on. There is not a single fault or issue. Did I mention the exceptionally kind and generous staff? The Butler team can’t do enough for you and whilst I commend every one of them, Charlelie was above and beyond at every minute prior to, and during, our stay, We only stay in 5* properties and this is one of the best I’ve stayed in as a well seasoned traveller. Can’t recommend enough!

Would have enjoyed it more if they had offered a few buffet things eg fruit, cereal, yogurt, pastries, juice, etc which you could help yourself to (felt too much food came out at once) then the option to order cooked breakfast perhaps it’s just personal preference. We left early (before commencement of breakfast) and had paid for breakfast, but they didn’t offer a to go breakfast not even a coffee and pastry 🥐

United StatesThe property is a 10/10, and perfectly tucked away near the luxury shopping areas and across from a stellar view of the Eiffel Tower. However it’s almost unnecessary to leave the property, because it’s an oasis in itself. The spa was such a great pickup me after a long day and the hotel is rather quiet and cozy so it feels like you’re the only person there.

Everything was wonderful. The staff were exceptionally sweet and friendly, the rooms are spacious, the spa is perfect (you book the whole place which includes sauna), the room service food is from the Michelin starred restaurant downstairs. It’s the type of place that makes you feel relaxed as soon as you walk in. I was sad to leave!
