Curtains on the fabulous windows need to be black out curtains as sun streaming through at 4.30 am woke us up.

There was a dripping noise in the bathroom that wouldn't go away for a while. Not much of a view sadly (but I was on the other side of the hotel). Wifi could be better.

Receptionist was friendly and check-in was quick. Hotel is right on the promenade. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Not keen on the entertainment. And there wasn't any on the night after.

The staff were friendly and polite and happy to help. Even found my husband a walking stick when he misplaced his. Nothing was too much trouble.

There was entrainment on the night l stay, so it was quite loud if you wanted to chill in your room.

The building had been painted and looked fab, however I think the new paint may have caused the windows to stick. We couldn't open the sash windows.

Location was perfect. Facilities where great, victorian lift was great peice of history, nice and clean with a great sea veiw.

The room was a decent size although needed a bit of attention, especially in the bathroom but that doesn't take away from your stay. Definitely need better pillows as they were very uncomfortable, wifi was good. Although we didn't have meals here the restaurant looked extremely busy at meal times. If mobility is an issue its about a 10min walk from main town centre.

Our room had a fantastic sea view, the room was basic but clean, had everything you needed for a short stay. The gentleman on reception was very polite and welcoming, having a car park was a great bonus. The old fashioned lift was fabulous but only worked if previous user remembered to close both gates. Overall, the room was great for our short stay but if your not looking for luxury this hotel may not be for you. We would definitely stay again but next time we would bring my own pillows. Ideal if going to Venue Cymru as right next door. Very decent price for a Saturday night with a sea view

Not enough information or told about the notice board or WiFi password. Landed late morning, wasn't giving the option of booking an evening meal. Which we found out we could have done in time. Was disappointed.

The only thing that spoilt it was the cold shower the next morning. I tried always and everything to get the water hot, but without success. It was a very quick shower. Apart from that, all was great 👍

Room was extremely warm couldn't seem to adjust this, it was warm even with window open bit much for me but probably ok for others. Meals- if you wanted food in the hotel you had to book a day in advance for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was at one specific time only, but there was lots of places to eat outside of hotel.

Good location. Very helpful lovely staff. Comfortable clean room - had a double for single use with sea view where sea was right in front of hotel across small road and promenade. Could see all of the bay.

It was a little bit noisy in the evening with the entertainment from below, but that was understandable as there was a coach party staying, and it was quiet by 10.30
